@SkepticalAttempt I didn't want to hijack another provider's thread, so the link to the full article that @Alittlebigger referenced is in here, and we would highly recommend reading it over.

The problem is not a 3rd round. As the article explains, it is an issue of too much volume placed too deep. This is not the only case like this we've seen either; there have now been several cases who have come to us presenting with severe complications after having PMMA penile girth enhancement done elsewhere by popular injectors as a result of too much/too deep PMMA filler having been placed, 4 of whom who have lost glans and/or erectile tissue because of this dangerous injection protocol being performed by practitioners who do not have a deep enough understanding of penile anatomy and tissue characteristics to safely place filler in the tissue plane they are placing it in.

Thanks I appreciate the information. Curious are multiple cases coming from the same provider, or is it more like 1 case from each? What would your office consider too much volume for a penis 6" BPEL 5.2" MEG? 25ml+? What would be the limit at your office?

@SkepticalAttempt Yes, multiple cases are coming from the same providers. This is not a one-off problem, and if it were, I would still give pause to making my decision. You only ever get 1 penis, as Dr. Carney always says.

There is no “magic number” out there based on starting size alone. The appropriate volume of filler is different for every man, even if they have the exact same starting size.

So I apologize I’m not able to give you a definitive number as there are many factors at play in Dr. Carney determining the appropriate treatment plan for a patient: tissue characteristics, individual anatomy of the organ itself, size and contour goals, general health and body habitus, lifestyle, which filler is being used, whether you’ve already had other enhancement done and where and from whom, the list goes on. In order for us to tell you “how much filler,” you would first need to be examined in a clinical consultation.

I realize that’s annoying for some men and I do apologize there’s no Easy button when it comes to this, but it’s the surest and safest way to ensure a bigger penis that still actually works. (Not to mention Dr. Carney is able to get more size using his Macrosculpting technique rather than a cannula)

Dr. Carney has created some REALLY big penises at Rejuvall (the Coke can guys), but it can take years to get there safely. We are always Urologists first and foremost; we’re never going to perform any procedure that would put the organ, which has complexity akin to the heart and fragile eyelid-like skin, at risk.

Finally, you would also have to have a foundation of HA in place before Dr. Carney would inject PMMA. We have seen too many complications from injecting PMMA into a “virgin” penis, and we’re actually publishing an article in the next few days about that as well, so keep an eye out.

@Rejuvall Hi. 10 years ago I had 3 rounds of Silikon injected into the shaft that eventually settled mostly below its base. Been to 2 specialists in New York who say nothing can be done outside of degloving it to remove it and one said he wouldn't even do that as it will leave a small space that can't be filled. I may not have gone to the right urologists. Is there a way the nodules can be lanced or have a partial Removal without an ugly scar? I would appreciate any ideas here to correct these issues. Thanks.

I'm going to be real with you. I'm so sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but unfortunately, they were all correct. I'll explain why.

The shaft skin is very fragile, closer to eyelid skin. You cannot safely make incisions into the shaft. For nodules from HA or PMMA, they sometimes can be pricked with a needle and aspirated, but only sometimes. But this is silicone. And as I'm sure you've considered, based on your photo, the problems you are experiencing are more than a few nodules.

Because the silicone has been in there so long, it has now attached to the inner tissue and hardened. Unfortunately, the only way to remove it would be to deglove the penis in order to access where it has attached to the inner tissue. Dr. Carney performs these surgeries all the time for this very reason, unfortunately.

Again, I'm very sorry to have to tell you all this, but in order to protect your penis organ, you are going to have to forego concerns about aesthetic appearance at this point. I'm so sorry, and I'm happy to answer any more questions you may have. Feel free to DM me as well.

@theoldhouse I know, and I am so sorry. We see cases just like yours all the time, unfortunately, which is why we're doing everything in our power to ensure these silicone injectors stop doing this to men.

If you haven't already, you can read a few of the pages on our website dedicated to this issue. I hope it helps.
