Dance With Dragons wrote: I gained 3/4\" circumference in one session with Dr. C which is as much as the one guy who went to Dr. Loria gained. The difference is I didn\'t have a bunch of complications afterward. I elected to fly to Mexico 3 times because I was a satisfied customer and wanted more. I assure you NO ONE will ever go to Dr. Loria for a second session. Money aside, this is a very serious medical procedure you are talking about, one that can have profound negative effects physical AND mentallY. If something goes wrong, fixing it is EXTREMELY expensive and often leaves the person in much worse shape then they were to start with, ie smaller and deformed. I\'m going to assume you love your husband and want to continue having a sexual relationship well into the future. If that is the case then DO NOT consider going to Loria just because he offers financing. If money is tight and you can\'t afford to get the only decent option for enhancement which is PMMA with Dr. C, then don\'t have anything done, get some big dildos and penis extension sleeves and call it a day. The Tommy Gunn extension adds over an inch of girth and two inches in length and doesn\'t result in infections and permanent disfigurement. It also costs 15 bucks on amazon. I hope you are hearing what I\'m saying, because this isn\'t like renting overpriced electronics from rent a center because you have bad credit and can\'t afford to go to best buy, this is your husband\'s manhood for God\'s sake. My suggestion based on what you\'ve said is do absolutely nothing and save money and enjoy your family. If money is even close to that tight for you guys walk away now.

I am taking what you said to heart. I hope the bad things Ive told him about Dr. L are enough for me to sway my husband from going to him.... Ive been encouraging my husband to read the boards but he just doesn\'t want to. I think he wants a quick fix and isn\'t doing the research he should. I seriously think he looked at all the pics on Dr. Loria\'s site and is basing his decision solely on that and a phone conversation he had with him. Which to me is really stupid.... Thanks for your reply, I\'ll show it to him.

My husband has a video conference scheduled with Dr. L on Wednesday and I plan to ask him some questions about his \"special mix\" Such as: Why he won\'t release the components of his filler? What if someone were to have an allergic reaction or something?! Better yet would he himself get injections into one of the most important parts of his body without knowing exactly what is in it? He expects people to make an \"Educated decision\" about this procedure yet refuses to disclose vital information. I\'m open to hear what he says but ill still be weary about the whole thing. Are there absolutely no Drs doing PMMA in the US?

how did the conference call go?

The conference is actually March 11th. My husband got the date wrong but I\'ll let you know we do it!

You should talk to Bluemale. He went to Loria for his first session and he ended up with a serious scar at the base of his junk. He also lost some sensation and in the end ended up going to Dr. Casavantes for corrections - at which point he was happy.

DWD is right about what he said. People would not go back to Dr. Louis Casavantes multiple times if they were not happy with the results. I would not go to see Loria. Also as DWD said, if money is that tight I wouldn\'t bother with it at all. If you space out multiple sessions across several years as I did it is quite affordable. The nice thing about this approach is that it also gives your body a chance to completely heal so that when you go for the next session you\'re starting with tissue which is not inflamed.I got round 1 in 2013, round 2 in 2014 and I will go for my touch up session sometime this year if everything goes as planned.
Feel free to PM me or your husband to PM me if you want some direct information.

If you stay in the Oil lamp district in San Diego and take the Limo/shuttle to and from Dr. Casavantes office there is literally no travel risk. That is by far the best option. I stayed in TJ the first time and it was cheaper and still nice, but when I go back for my touch up I\'m definitely staying in San Diego.

Question regarding pricing for PMMA with Dr. C 11 years 4 months ago #1286430359

Lilaforlife- I\'ve talked directly with Dr. Loria a couple of times. His lengthening procedure that he\'s been investigating, he is now doing. He inserts a silicone splint (like the diameter of a bic ball point pen). The silicone splint does not increase Erect length, but Flaccid length is increased to about the Erect length, but thinner than Erect Girth.

In other words the splint just holds the penis out, preventing retraction and turtleing.

I asked Dr. Loria extensively about the band at the base of the penis while the silicone oil is becoming established. His answers were very evasive, contradictory and require several weeks of having the restriction ring. And seepage into the pelvis and scrotal sack does happen (which others on this board will share).

Therefore, I decided NOT to go to Dr. Loria and chose a procedure with Dr. C in Mexico late March.

Tim,

I am curious. So is Loria\'s splint along the lines of the Elist implant? I am assuming this is inserted into and along the length of the penis. If this is the case, I can see it having similar disastrous issues to like Elist. Certainly not worth it to gain a little extra Flaccid length.

Elist\'s silicone is a tube, whereas Loria\'s is a silicone rod, but shaped to fit between the CC chamber\'s (I think), or maybe above the chambers.

Sounds like a splendid idea. I don\'t know what could possibly go wrong there.

He is either taking notes from the Elist procedure or attempting to use a similar philosophy of penile implants for impotence, which generally ends up shortening the penis.

Either way, it just shows that the only reason Loria should ever do anything below the belt is if he is transplanting pubes.

BS what loria is telling you. He is NOT a QUALIFIED surgeon...I guarantee that \"if\" any one goes for this claimed length silicone stupid rod method, there will be a disaster...He has no clue how to do it. I am sure of it. He may become even more infamous than elist if that is at all possible...

Also, he shouldn\'t call it lengthening as the penis isn\'t getting any longer. I don\'t see how this differs from a prosthesis, which makes the Flaccid bigger. Isn\'t he just describing a penile prosthesis without the inflatable part? Infections will be even higher risk that with the Elist implant.

The fact that he has paid membership/certification at some point to American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery does not qualify him to practice in any general surgery or Urology setting. If he didn\'t have the appropriate residency, he doesn\'t earn the credentials to do what he\'s claiming he can do. This should be a BIG F\'ING RED FLAG to the consumer. Especially the newbie with zero penile experience (you\'re being forewarned here). This unsound practice of practitioners providing a service of which they are not trained or licensed to do reminds me of a discussion on the history of medicine, in the 1800s when states were still territories, there wasn\'t enough clinicians to service small towns, so many \"pseudo-docs\" or former \"civil war medics\" opened up shop in these unserviced towns. There wasn\'t as many of these pseudo-docs as the tabloids may claim but they caused enough death mistaking measles for small pox or not taking the necessary precautions of isolating themselves after exposure. This doctor should be on a forum \"red flag label\", and should stick to what he\'s qualified to do, hair restoration.

As a point of reference, the exalted Dr. C is a Dermatologist.

\'Dermatology is the branch of medicine dealing with hair, nails, skin and its diseases.\'

Do you want this man performing surgery on your penis?

He\'s a cosmetic dermatologists, basically they are the Cosmetic filler docs period! Of course many PAs & NPs provide these same services at women\'s spas. He has over 2 decades of working with fillers and has never inserted a silicone splint in his patients. I would prefer a urologists to perform this PMMA procedure, but Dr.C is one of the best ones around that provides this service. Derm docs perform routine biopsy on melanoma or carcinoma lesions so using a scapula isn\'t a foreign art for their specialty. But inserting a splint into the penis is out of their scope of practice.

No, but I don\'t think he offers penis surgery. Maybe he might cut a skin lesion off or something of that nature, but I\'d prefer that don\'t by a Dermatologist anyway.
