@timid newbie - i havent asked them directly about dmso since the risks are limited and Red was having success, but maybe you should ask. I asked my Dermatologist, and he said it\'s been around forever and he\'s not comfortable recommending it because he just doesn\'t know enough about it.

@Restoration
Thanks. Yea, I need to see if I can get in touch with Wade and ask. I know he had a family emergency and was out of pocket for a week. He called me last Wednesday as a follow up to see how things were going and I briefly touched on the issue but he didn\'t have a lot to say in response. I emailed him a couple of pics Thursday evening but haven\'t gotten a response. I just hate pestering them \"too much\" because I know how busy they are. And if it is something that will end up taking care of it\'s self then suddenly I am becoming just another one of those paranoid guys. But the counter point to that is, if it is something I can take care of I certainly want to give it a shot. It\'s pretty damn painful, and got me to the point that I avoid sex. The woman, on the other hand, is all about the new penis and wants to ride it like she is going for the triple crown. Makes it tough to say no.

Hoddle, have you ever heard of anyone injecting DMSO? It\'s sold as sterile solvent for research use, and it is injected in mice for various research purposes. It appears PMMA is soluble in DMSO, though it\'s not clear.

Yes I have actually. There is a guy who does Chemical PE, called Ronelle (or something like that.) He injected DMSO.

I found some posts googling him (ronielle) - I was just reading thundersplace - This is the thread if anyone\'s interested. He hasn\'t posted in this one, but they\'re discussing it. I have to wait for moderator approval before I can post. I\'ll keep looking for what he injected. Because I have one very prominent lump left (the other can probably be viewed as a vein) I\'d love to inject it in that thing. I\'m using it topically for now like Red1975 and you suggested.

This is crazy but my rather noticeable white spot (a little hypopigmentation from Kenalog) completely dissipated where I was putting the DMSO...and the Nodule under it is softer or...less prominent somehow.

I haven\'t had success with all the nodules & some more were removed, but that was interesting. I wonder if it truly restored the pigment via enhanced blood flow or something because steroid hypopigmentation takes up 6 months to normalize...not 6 weeks. But, it\'s totally gone now. (At least it wasn\'t steroid Atrophy! But I did get a white spot about 3 weeks after the Kenalog I had.)

Hey guys I apologize if this is a stupid question but can this be used to maybe reduce scar tissue aka bumps and dents? I have dents and some half rings on the left side of my member from poor masterbation technique over the years I feel like the left side is not getting enough blood flow because of them, reason being I had a botched circ when I was a child and the only way it felt good was with my finger tips. I realize this is what caused them I went to see a specialist here in toronto one of the best supposingly to check for peyronies and i shrunk to a size I didnt know i could when i saw him. Anyways the so called specialist pulled on my glands ran 2 fingers down the sides on my member and said nope no peyronies. This made me very angry and depressed since i know something is not right, sorry for the long post guys.

Peyronies can not be diagnosed that easily. You saw a bad doctor. go the the peyronies forum and get a referral for someone good. I do not have peyronies but I know they have to use ultra sound and doppler I believe.

I saw the top Peyronie\'s expert in Canada thanks for that though.

TLDR - If you have hard spots, please try DMSO! Details follow.

I\'ve been using DMSO on the left side nodules (those that were not excised surgically) since October 1. These have been present since April (R3 in March 2015). So, about 6 months later, nothing changed despite Kenalog and 5fu. That\'s why I had surgery after Kenalog and 5-fu failed. Well... I wish I used DMSO to put it mildly. I tried it briefly before, but it was too close to my open wound.

This time, I used it for 2 weeks 1-3 times per day. Then, I took a week off. I went back after that week. It still seemed to be changing in my week off. I used the same formula as Red1975. Biovea 99% pure DMSO (3 parts) with Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar (1 part). I mixed the 4 parts in a syringe (no needle) and then just dripped it out on my skin and rubbed it in with a sterile tongue depressor from amazon. I let it air dry, and then sometimes use castor and emu oil, though I don\'t think that part is as important. It keeps the skin less irritated though.

I\'ve also added in traction after the DMSO, which may help pull the nodules and thin them out maybe (who knows - I need to use it anyway).

I wish I did this sooner, but I had that freakish open wound for 2 months, so I was afraid it would hurt that area. I don\'t know if it can help nodules that feel like BBs (still TBD) - but it has considerably softened the islands of PMMA tissue and the rough edges I have had form after R3. They\'re still there, but not as hard. In the Erect state, there is far less of a transition between those uneven / unnatural edges and the softer PMMA tissue.

Pics don\'t really tell the story since this is all about feel... and it continues to improve. Pics tend to look the same, I think.

I would REALLY encourage anyone with nodules to try this. Kenalog and 5-fU were both useless for me, despite the literature. How DMSO works... I have no idea... but it absolutely is working. It can feel mildly annoying to do it every day - with the measuring, cleaning the penis, and walking around waiting for it to dry off. But, I see no real downside - and the results are pretty good. DMSO is strong stuff. Some dripped on my ottoman that has a leather top and it took the finish off the spot on the leather! (The penis is still the same color).

Oddly enough, it burns / itches when i put it on skin like my leg or forearm (as a test), but I have no issue on the penis. The smell of vinegar is also a reason I stopped using it earlier, but I think that isn\'t the part that even does anything. I suppose Iodine can be used, or even sterile water... the DMSO is the anti-inflammatory agent, and it\'s a universal solvent - so maybe it\'s getting some of the PMMA out of the tissue and more evenly distributed? I have no idea, but it works. I am not sure how far it can work, but for now I\'ll keep trying with a few weeks on and off. I think the body continues to remodel the area once the DMSO triggers the anti-inflammatory action (or whatever it does). I also used some additional massage of the nodules apart from traction, but DMSO is doing 90% of the work.
