Brock,

Have you decided to go the temp filler route?

Good question. It sounds like magic right?? 3 years, no worry of permanent issues? I thought I was in for sure- then Wade said they hadn\'t done one yet (which made me go Hmmmmm), and when I asked on a follow up email (above)- they stopped selling the option. So then I started thinking about PMMA - until Dr. Oates on the other thread started getting me spun up on Ellanse again!

I would say- if it does what they say it does, it\'s MY best option I think. I would like to see some before and after pics to compare though for sure.

My travel schedule and living arrangements are a little messed up at the moment. Hope to have another look at this when things settle. I think Dr. C needs to make a commitment on Ellanse though. I wouldn\'t want to get it, and need a fill up/ touch up and have him say they stopped carrying it.

That\'s my concern as well. I think Dr. C is very good at what he does. But I really don\'t want to be the first one out of the gate here..

Hoddle10 is not happy about macrolane and I tend to follow these moderators. How does it compare to voluma?

12cc\'s of most brands would be a lot more expensive than Radiesse - but if you went with Macrolane (the cheapest HA) it would be a similar price ($900 more max. Not \'cheap\' but compared to all the other HA prices they offer, Macrolane is comparable to Radiesse). Probably the safest option since it\'s reversible and natural to the body.

I didn\'t know that they did HA, but yes.. that would be my first choice. Especially after reading the posts by Dr Oates on the board here. The thought of having something that could be undone easily appeals to me. I just want to have a 10 min conversation with Wade or someone else at Dr C\'s office about this and all of the temp filler options.

Frankly, at some point I may go the PMMA route. But, if this works and gets me what I need, I don\'t mind going down every year and re-doing it. Having said that, it\'s a concern if Dr C retires, or something happens to the clinic.

We should ask Dr. Oats on his thread about mixing fillers. Makes me nervous. What do you think jay-

Wade responded and said the only one they use at this time is Linneasafe

No Ellanse at Dr C ! As of 9/1/2016 - From Wade (I\'m going to have to get something from these guys they answer so many emails)

Unfortunately we are no longer able to get Ellanse in Mexico, and do not see this becoming an option in the near future.

I\'ve decided to cancel this procedure for now. I may address it in the future, but I\'m not comfortable with the responses I\'m getting, nor the time frame it\'s taking to get those responses from the Dr.\'s office. No offense to them, I know they are busy. But this is a huge decision for me, and I needed a little more reassurance and additional info before I decided which path to take. I certainly don\'t want to make an uninformed decision on this.

I normally get back replies in 2-3days. I totally get what youmean. You want to feel like they care and not just want your money.

Yes. Nothing personal, they seem like good people. But I\'m not buying tires here. I had some very specific questions that weren\'t answered. The office manager sent one list of temp fillers, only to find out that they don\'t carry any of them anymore. Just didn\'t feel right.

They were very good about issuing a prompt refund though.

You made the right decision. Imagine how you\'d deal with these delays if you had a complication.

You are right. I wanted it to be the right solution for me so badly. But yeah, I feel better about cancelling.

I figured it couldn\'t be all that different and either way it\'s just HA so worst case scenario I get it dissolved. I backed out due to price, but at this point I kinda wish I would have done it. I didn\'t know about Macrolane\'s cheapness at the time. Voluma lasts the longest but it, along with most of other HA\'s will run you like $475/cc! Macrolane is more like $325/cc and still lasts about a year, maybe more according to the marketing info.

Strange, I\'ve heard even about Macrolane prices of about 30USD/cc in Czech Republic :-/
