I think the surgeon
Urologist I spoke to said the
PMMA was place between the two fascia layers, between the Dartos (upper) and Bucks (lower) layers. The Bucks sits immediately above the dorsal nerve.
So when the
PMMA is pressed down it would be rubbing on top of the dorsal nerve, up and down along it\'s length as it moves with the skin.
This is what I have and what causes the pain. It\'s a pudental nerve and sometimes I will feel pain down the length of my leg down to my foot. Along with penile pain too of course.
I\'m not sure, but I think I have less sensitivity in the glans, maybe this is due to cummulative damage over time. Seems to have become worse more quickly after I started trying to power through the pain. Perhaps causing more damage and thus reducing sensitivity. Certainly harder to orgasm too.
My fear would be sensitivity worsening, then I will get it out. A lot more accepting of this now, it\'s not the end of the world to get it out.
