Hi everyone, long time lurker here although I have chimed in a few times in the past.

Firstly, just wanted to thank those I have followed extensively and have had private chats with, so much information and feedback. It has really made this decision much less stressful.

So I originally wanted to go to Dr. Carney at Rejuvall, but due to distance and travel (I am also located in South Bay, CA) I decided to look into Dr. Liu.
After speaking with him extensively through email and a numerous phone calls, he assured me his process is the same as what Dr. Carney does with the MegaMAXL. The difference being the terminology used. Hoping this is correct...

I have my consultation with him tomorrow to discuss what should be used for the grafting. Looks like it will be Alloderm due to the recent recall, but I will ask about Surgimend just in case. I have hung for close to 7yrs, hanging up to 20lbs when I was hanging at my prime. So hanging following the lig cut should be simple enough.. I hope.
I did have HA filler injected a year ago, last September, and I think a little bit of it is still present. Either that or it stimulated new collagen that has stayed? Not sure.

My current stats -
FL: 4.8-5.25" (varies on temp, time of day)
FG: 5.2"
EL: 6.7"
EG: 5.75"

Based on others experiences, as those mentioned above, what graft material do you think would be best for me and what should I realistically expect for gains?
I would like to reach 7"+ in erect length, which hopefully is achievable with consistent hanging following the lig cut. Hanging 7-10lbs as soon as possible. Are you able to hang right away if keeping it lighter, like 2lbs?

As for girth, if I am 5.75" when erect already (again some girth may still be from lingering HA filler so I may thin out as time passes) would I be pushing it too far with a 1-1.5" gain? I still want my wife to be able to enjoy sex, just saying lol. But if I gained 1.5" then I'd be over 7" in girth which might be a little too much?

Anyways, just wanted to start this thread as I will be posting my findings and progress.

Thank you again everyone for all the info and reassurance through your own journeys!

I measured my own EL today and I have an approx 0.5” erect length increase. This is with consistent weight usage and I’m 3 months post op. I say approximate because I only measured once and I like to verify a few times.

Dr. Liu has a protocol for the 30 post op - either manual stretching or using weights for short intervals (4 sets of 30 seconds, 6X per day). After that you can use weights - you won’t want to use a noose system with the dermal grafts but Dr Liu will provide a weighted sleeve.

1” to 1.5” girth increase is definitely possible since it’ll likely be combined with filler or fat. Past 7” might be pushing it but @Dream has an extensive post on this. Am on mobile right now so can’t find the URL. I think he discusses it in his most recent recovery post.

Best of luck and don’t forget to pay it forward and post your experience!

Hiya, nice topic. I would really like to get my hands on one of these weighted sleeves! I have been doing manual stretching since day 22 or so post op. But the sleeve definitely would work for me when I am walking around work. I can't use a noose system either due to being a skin graft patient as well.

Any advice as how to order one or acquire one of these weighted sleeves would with instructions would be greatly appreciated! heart heart heart heart

I'm glad to see a resurgence in (viable) surgical options in the discussion as of late. Non-surgical options (like Dermal Filler injections) have the appeal of being outpatient procedures with relatively low downtime. This may explain why they have dominated the discussion.

However, surgical options tend to offer permanence with far less aesthetic nuisances like nodules, ridges, and asymmetry, especially when performed by a skilled Plastic Surgeon. Surgical options are also appealing in that they are almost always a "one & done" process, whereas non-surgical options may require additional rounds, for both Girth and Revision.

Like Southbay612 said, please do follow-up with this thread, I believe I can speak for most previous contributors, we do appreciate when members pay their experiences forward. Good luck!

@bicboyanaconda733 its Dr Liu’s own invention and he just gives it with his surgeries. It wouldn’t work in the office or in public though. It’s too bulky and doesn’t stay on well when moving around. I only use mine when at home.

@SouthBay612
That's awesome!

Couple questions, is that a 0.5" increase in EL from your post-op length? In case it retracted a little following the procedure. Or is that a 0.5" EL gain on top of your original EL pre-op measurement?

When you say consistent weight usage, what is your hanging routine like? How early did you start with the manual stretching? Then when did you start the "4 sets of 30 seconds, 6X per day" routine hanging with weights? What are you hanging now and what's the schedule like? Sry for all the questions!

Thank you again!!

Apologies for the double post

@Texas
You mentioned not using a vac hanger on your aftercare thread if you had a graft done or fillers, correct? I own the bib hanger, and a vac hanger, the vac hanger isn't that tight to be honest...since mainly hanging with the pressure on the glands. What would you recommend as the best method for hanging following this procedure? I also have this still on system leg strap, though I'm wondering if a noose could leave an indentation/gap right behind the glands?

Great questions… it’s from my post surgical length, and I confirmed again today the increase and haven’t hung at all today.

I use my weights (only 3 pounds, but can go up to 5) for 2-3 hours per day on average. Manual stretching was only for first 30 days.

Oh ok, that's awesome!
Are you hanging the 3-5 lbs for 2 to 3 hours a day using Dr Liu's weight sleeve? Or are you hanging with something else? And the hanging hasn't decreased your girth?

That's great, I have been doing stretching exercises about 2 weeks after the graft enhancement, just 30 second tugs or "stretches" up ,down ,left ,right and outwards. I have no idea how much pounds of pressure im exerting but I basically fight the comfortable zone and pull a bit more with out hurting my self. I do this about 4 -6 times a day. I don't see my self trying anything further than that. I usually do more on week ends (6 sessions)

I would buy a hanger if I thought it would work for me, but I really have my doubts because anything pulling on an engraftment for hours a day and the excess of 1kg can't be good for vascularization or blood supply. I prefer nature taking its course plus the erections I have literally every single night are so strong and relentless I think their doing a good job of stretching things about by themselves.

I measure my self 3 weeks (22 days or so) after the procedure at about 14cm erect length, just from pulling exercises and Cialis accord 5mg (the 28 day packet) daily and evening erections have been incredible. I measured today (33 days post procedure) and im 16cm erect length already. I was originally at 18cm erect prior to my engraftment and that was bone pressed. So with 2cm to go I am starting to not really worry at all and that its all a matter of time. At least it is in my case. But those who want extra and more length all power too them! There must be methods on everyone's madness! :) Otherwise inventions would never be a thing right ?

Ok so I had my surgery scheduled for early Oct, but unfortunately will need to push it back to early December.
I want to be able to give the proper amount of focus and time to hanging/stretching immediately following the surgery and I will unfortunately be traveling during the month of November.

I've looked into the best Collagen Peptides Powder, L-Lysine supplement, Biotin supplement, and a topical cream that has retinol, collagen, and hyaluronic acid to help boost collagen recovery/building post surgery.
Goal is to start a regimen alongside hanging and pulling/stretching to achieve the most I can get out of recovery.

Wondering if hanging 1 lb from day one after the procedure is doable.

@Tyl2704 Dr Liu will prescribe either manual stretching or light hanging (I.e. 1lb) for first 30 days. After that you can increase. On the other question, I’m using Dr Liu’s weight sleeve. I prefer it because it distributes weight evenly. You do not want to use a hanger, clamp, or vacuum device according to Dr Liu because it can create deformities

Thanks for sharing! I'm confused about Dr. Liu saying his procedure is the same as Dr. Carney's, as my understanding Is Liu leaves 10% of the suspensory lig in place for stability, While Carney cuts it completely along with the deep ligament. Anyone shed light on that?

Yeah I'm a tad confused on that as well

@Texas
@Skeptical_One
Would either of you know the answer to this?
Also Texas, just a friendly ping on my previous question about vac hanging :)

I'm now currently pumping for 8-10 mins everyday at 5Hg. Going to start hanging again, 5-7lbs for one hour a day as well. I imagine that prep before the surgery might be beneficial

Thank you!
