@christiancasey As I'm sure Ray explained, Dr. Carney has been in El Salvador with Doctors Without Borders and so has not had a chance to look at the photos yet. I'll have Ray reach out to you today anyway to touch base.

@christiancasey Ray just texted you a bit ago. Again, moving forward, please reach out to me via DM here or text or call or email Ray if you feel like it's been too long since you've heard from us. We want to help you and are NOT ever trying to "ghost" you.

As the resident Patient Advocate, it's my responsibility to make observations that can hopefully benefit the Community as a whole. I understand we have goals, and getting even the most sound advice can be hard to interpret rationally, especially when there may be alternatives with differing views and options (example: disappointment that Circumcision is required for a procedure while knowing there are some who will do injections uncut regardless).

That said, and I say this sincerely from a place of impartiality (I get no commission on whether or not you remained with Dr. Carney), and this goes out to anyone & everyone reading this: more times than not, when researching options for elective medical procedures (especially those that can potentially be life-changing), you aren't looking for Providers who give you everything you want to hear. You're looking for the best fit under a set of reasonable criteria (procedures available, candidacy-requirements, budget, logistics and travel, etcetera). For many that can be fulfilled by Rejuvall. Others may prefer alternative methodologies.

Having received good advice from one Provider doesn't make another Provider's opinion inherently wrong, since there are definitely viable alternative approaches. However, I do respectfully wish to caution christiancasey and all Readers to be sure it isn't the pursuit of validation from the first Provider willing to give us everything we so desire. In no way am I suggesting that has been the case with christiancasey (in fact I can't possibly know right now), but the call to attention stems from a history of cases where the "wrong head" prevailed because less-than-scrupulous parties prioritized profit over patient-care.

And for what it's worth, it does appear that the Rejuvall team was not only able to restore communications, but was able to give you sound advice in the end.

If you wish to share who did your current procedure, I ask that you start a new topic please (this helps everyone, especially through the search function and topic-cohesion). I didn't mean to hijack your thread, but I thought this would make for a good opportunity to share some insight -- my role here has evolved to take on a more Patient Support / Advocacy role, where my comments often use situations or instances where I can highlight something of importance (maybe as genuine advice, or even as a Forum PSA). Things like patient decision making, potential pitfalls, and priority management (examples: risk aversion, logistics vs value, and so on) come to mind.

Best of luck.
