Glad to hear it. Can you tell me how yours progressed? Was it this pronounced? How do you feel about where you ended up?

I had the same problem as you, but it has been largely resolved. However, when the swelling went down, I realized that there was a leak and that filler had accumulated at the base under the penis. The result is a lump the size of a kidney bean, which is clearly PMMA, and I will probably have to have it surgically removed. But it's tolerable, and it's a risk associated with this procedure that you don't often hear about.

This is my fear. The area of hardness on the underside of my base is wayyyy bigger than a kidney bean though. If it was bean sized I wouldn't be so freaked out. This goes around the entire underside half of my shaft. It's very firm, and it does not appear to be attached to the shaft underneath. It curves out away from the shaft. Dr. C says it will go away as the swelling fades but I don't see how. I can feel the difference between areas that are swollen with lymphatic fluid and this monster. It feels like a strip of Centimeter thick rubber is wrapped around my base. I can press it down onto the internal shaft surface with my fingers and it lays flat for a minute, but the moment my Dick hangs down again the rubber strip folds in half at the crease where my shaft meets my scrotum. As soon as I raise my Dick up, the strip of rubber is standing sharply at attention again.

Having a hard time thinking of anything right now except how awful this looks and feels.

I had this too. It was addressed on my last session. Basically every session they can correct things like maybe one side is uneven or there is a low spot. I mention this in my thread but yeah I had a spot that flared out in the base.

But yeah just continue to massage like Ian showed you. Document any problem areas and on your next appointment they can address it. I had a large Nodule on the top of my shaft from my first procedure. I thought it would go away if I added more filler, but I needed to get a Kenalog injection to break it up.

If you look though people threads you'll see some people have minor imperfections that they go back and get fixed. Each time you go back they can only fit less and less filler because of scar tissue and less space so that they can focus on correcting any problem areas instead. This is why they recommend you pump to add more room, because there are some people that want as much filler as they can get which can some times result in the entry points taking some time to close.

Like most people try to build mass first then go for minor touchups later*

Having been there before, this is edema. It can make spots look like this, temporarily. I predict 1 mos it will look better, 3 mos it will be gone. Massage

I had the same thing after the first round and I’ll give it to you straight it’s likely not going to go away. But it’s also not the end of the world. I was every bit as freaked out as you are but I can assure you it’s not as bad as you think it is. I went for a second round and it hides it a little better but if I pull up like that you can still see it. It’s one aspect of these procedures that people need to understand is that once you decide to do something like this your original penis is gone and that’s part of the deal you’re making. I don’t mean that to lecture you just that it will be okay. I was kind of depressed about the imperfections after the first round but I doubled down and went back for more and I’m glad I did. Embrace your new Dick and learn to love it even if it’s not perfect.

My brother in Christ, if you’re right I’ll jump through the internet and kiss you. I just have a hard time believing a hard rubbery band as thick as a drinking straw and wrapped around the underside of my base could possibly be fluid buildup/edema. Dr. C said at this point to press firmly with fingers into the meatiest part of the mass for four mins, four times a day. I’ll do that but it doesn’t seem to do anything.

I can’t see how something this big is fixable. It’s not a spot. It’s as thick as a pencil, probably two inches long, wrapped around the underside of the base where the base meets the scrotum. Adding filler around it could make it a smoother curve instead the inner tube it is now but my Dick will be totally cone shaped.

You had Ellanse though, right? Why not have it dissolved? If I could get this tube of rubber dissolved I’d do it right now. It looks bad but feels absurd. The rest of my Dick is still very swollen with fluid but this part is a different texture entirely. It’s very firm and rubbery and it’s huge. The photos make it look like a lump but it feels like a 2 or 3” long piece of rubber macaroni attached to the underside of my Dick. It’s so much thicker than the base immediately above it. I didn’t have a lot of length to begin with and this is going to reduce functional penetration even more because once this part hits a vagina or a mouth I’m not getting in any further. I will learn to live with it but this isn’t the kind of “minor imperfection” I was expecting.

Gh847….Ellanse can not be dissolved. It’s PCL and not HA.

Ellanse and PMMA are basically the same thing even if it isn’t technically permanent. There is no dissolving it. The hard rubbery feeling band around the base is exactly what I have and even after 4 years it’s still there. It’s not going anywhere but I promise you it’s not as big a deal as you think it is right now. These things happen with filler and a second round may be in order but I’d give it a few months before you make any decisions. Don’t panic and try to get it removed emotions are high right now and you’re thinking what the hell have I done but you will be fine.

Let me add something important: it's far too early to jump to any conclusions at this point. I learned this the hard way after going to AD. The swelling I had, which was similar to yours, decreased significantly over time (over several months!) to eventually reach the size of a kidney bean. So at this stage, anything is possible, and the only thing that can help you is to follow Dr. C's instructions and find a way to distract your mind. You could also make a deal with yourself, like, “OK, no final conclusions for three months.” And even after three months, there are still positive changes that can happen.

Totally solid point. I think my goal for now is to gather information from Avanti and the many generous men here like you who have shared their similar experiences. I want to be sure I’m doing everything I can right now to minimize this thing, but I do understand that only time will tell how much of a problem this really is. Thanks man.

It’s like you’re reading my mind! I do love the changes I’m seeing generally aside from this thing. and I know this weird chunk of rubber isnt the end of the world. I’ll do some breath work and apply pressure 4x a day like the good doctor ordered and see where we are in the coming week and months. Thanks for the support brother!
