Men exploring penis enlargement today have two main pathways: non-surgical treatments and surgical procedures. Both can produce significant improvements, but they differ in permanence, recovery, and risk profile.

Non-Surgical Options
  • Length: Traction-based programs (such as MAXL) can produce around 1 inch of permanent length gain when followed correctly.
  • Girth: Fillers range from temporary hyaluronic acid (HA), which lasts 12–48 months, to permanent fillers like PMMA.
  • Hybrid approaches combining HA and PMMA allow men to start with a reversible filler and gradually transition to a permanent result.
  • Recovery: Most patients are back to normal activity within 1–3 days with very low complication rates when performed by experienced, board-certified medical providers.
  • Maintenance: Only HA fillers require periodic touch-ups; PMMA and traction results are long-lasting.

Surgical Options
  • Length: Surgeries such as suspensory ligament release with penile repositioning (similar to MegaMAXL-type procedures) typically produce 1+ inch permanent length gain, with multi-stage protocols (like SuperMAXL) aiming for 2+ inches.
  • Girth: Modern Fat Transfer Technology (FTT) combined with Tissue Restructure Technology (TRT) has improved outcomes dramatically, offering life-lasting girth gains with far less resorption and clumping than older fat grafting techniques.
  • Recovery: Expect several weeks of downtime and structured aftercare.
  • Risks: All surgery carries some risk of infection, bleeding, or scarring, but these risks are significantly reduced with advanced technique and urology-led care.

Key Takeaways
  • Non-surgical treatments fit men who want minimal downtime and adjustable results.
  • Surgical procedures are best for those seeking maximum, permanent enlargement and who are comfortable with a longer recovery.
  • Whichever path you choose, the single most important factor is working with an experienced, board-certified urologic surgeon to ensure both function and appearance are preserved.

Thanks…can you provide details on the downtime and recovery process for the procedures your firm offers? There are several post regarding the Maxl in various threads, some of which are not flattering.

Absolutely! Our clinic offers over 33 different cosmetic Urology procedures, both surgical and non-surgical. To better help you and not overwhelm you with information, which procedures in particular are you curious about the downtime and recovery process for?

The MAXL has no recovery or downtime as it is our 90-day non-surgical program. And yes, I am aware that there are many men here who feel they can get the same results by attempting to DIY our MAXL program. And we see men in our clinic every day who come to us for ED and Peyronie's treatment or aesthetic Repair of the disfigurement they have developed as a result of doing their own penis enlargement. We are urologists first and foremost, and Rejuvall grew out of the treatments we provided our Peyronie's patients to help them regain the size they lost to the disease; we're not here to just take your money or try and make you look better, our primary goal is patient safety and has been the cornerstone of our practice for the over 45 years our doors have been open.

I'm not sure if perhaps you were referring to the negative comments about our MegaMAXL surgical lengthening procedure? I have seen those as well, and a few things popped out at me:
  1. We have never made any claims about additional Erect length. Our guarantees have always been in regard to Flaccid length, and we are very up front and honest about that from the very beginning and throughout the entire process. As medical science stands right now, no one, not even we can guarantee anyone an increase in Erect length. That's just because penile anatomy and function vary so widely from man to man, especially when it comes to erectile tissue. A good predictor of whether or not you would be able to gain Erect length after the MegaMAXL is whether you are "a Grower or a shower." When an Erection happens, the part of the penis that is on the inside of the body extends outward. Growers already have all remaining available erectile length extending outward during an Erection and so typically won't see much, if any, of an increase in Erect length post-surgery. Showers, on the other hand, typically have more available internal organ to bring out so they are usually the ones seeing an increase in Erect length after the MegaMAXL. Additionally, we have had patients who have reached out to us after the MegaMAXL dissatisfied with their Erect length gains but when they were measured properly, found that they had actually gained more than they thought. I realize that measuring one's Erection seems pretty straightforward and foolproof, but you would be surprised by how many men get it wrong.
  2. The former patients who complained about their results did not properly follow our post-operative instructions and aftercare regimens. I know this simply based off of their own admission in their comments.
  3. I also noticed there was some dissatisfaction with our post-operative follow-up, which is something that has been addressed. We have a dedicated surgical support line as well as a surgical team member who performs regular check-ins with patients after they are discharged from surgery until they have healed, in case of any problems or questions. We also offer an add-on nursing service for surgical patients who are not able to bring anyone with them to care for them for the 48 hours post-op they are required to stay close to our surgical center.
  4. There is a fellow sponsor on the forums who has made claims to some of his potential clients (again, by their own admission in their comments) that the lengthening surgery he performs is identical to the MegaMAXL. That claim is completely false. Dr. Carney invented the MegaMAXL and all techniques contained therein, which are patented and proprietary to Rejuvall. As far as I know, this fellow sponsor does not offer a 1+ Inch length increase guarantee whereas we do. If it were the identical surgery, a guarantee would be able to be made.

I hope that helps clear things up. Please let me know which specific procedures you'd like to know recovery and aftercare details for and I will get with our surgical team and get those instructions to you, minus any proprietary information I'm not able to share. Always happy to educate and answer any questions!
