Yes, it’s perfectly safe to use a sauna after
HA filler. The only reason to avoid a sauna after
HA filler is that heat can increase inflammation and swelling. After a filler or procedure, we generally give you ice to reduce inflammation and swelling. After the first few days, even a week, I don’t see any issue with using a sauna. And definitively, after two to three weeks, there should be no issue at all.
A sauna is not going to increase the metabolism of your
HA filler. Very few things affect the metabolism of
HA filler other than your natural rate of metabolism. The one thing that does seem to affect it is smoking, so definitely avoid that. Dr. S
