After the 2-4 week no sauna post HA filler; does ongoing sauna use increase the chance of filler dissolving / metabolizing?

Yes, it’s perfectly safe to use a sauna after HA filler. The only reason to avoid a sauna after HA filler is that heat can increase inflammation and swelling. After a filler or procedure, we generally give you ice to reduce inflammation and swelling. After the first few days, even a week, I don’t see any issue with using a sauna. And definitively, after two to three weeks, there should be no issue at all.

A sauna is not going to increase the metabolism of your HA filler. Very few things affect the metabolism of HA filler other than your natural rate of metabolism. The one thing that does seem to affect it is smoking, so definitely avoid that. Dr. S

Yes, here it is important to wait the 2-4 weeks (to reduce infection risk) but then it should be ok.
