Thanks for suggesting this gel. I am especially enthused as while my Test levels are \"normal\" for my age, they are way below those of a younger guy. Also I learned that Testim is sold in France meaning that I might be able to get treatment with my already paid up health insurance under local medical supervision, and not some exorbitant injection protocol brought back from the US.
So it would give similar results to Test injections but with an easier application? How would you rate it aside from possibly its lower cost? Also would you know how it rates against its main competitor, Androgel? Testim is 1% Test while Androgel was rumored to be preparing a 2.5% gel.
What of the generic Agel from Israel or another from Italy? Did you know about Testim\'s known side effect of giving off an unpleasant... smell? Androgel is said to be odor neutral. And has anyone heard of Acrux\'s 2% underarm lotion called Axiron and ENDP\'s Fortesta? And what about the subdermally inserted in the hip rice grain-size Testopel called T-Pellets?

@HC I know of a few guys personally that use Testim' 1%. Androgel' is also available here in the US in both 1.62% and 1.0%. I\'m sure either would be fine. Sometimes the carrier (delivery mechanism) that delivers the drug through the tissues is the only difference. I have NO experience personally in TRT and consequently NO experience with either product. My T levels are still very high; likely due to genetics, weight training, diet and body fat percentage. I would advise having the appropriate blood work done to test your T levels. Even your GP/PCP should be able to write you a script and recommend a percentage. From my research, injections seem to be the most efficacious. Perhaps someone here has more experience with TRT and can chime in.

I will ask my doctor to prescribe if at all possible. However last month he did my bloodwork and said my T levels were normal, but that was for my age, which I\'d want to rejuvenate rather than let my libido dwindle. I doubt he\'d go for the injections as he isn\'t an anti-ageing doctor but maybe I could talk him into prescribing the Androgel 1.62 which won\'t smell and uses enough surface skin during application to get a nice dose. Thx.

@HC If your levels of free T are normal (albeit even for your age), I would advise you start with a lower dose (1%) and see how your body reacts. Too much T that can lead to unwanted side effects; either converting to estrogen via the enzyme aromatase or to DHT by alpha 5 reductase. You don\'t need the T levels of a bull shark to be healthy, muscular, horny and happy. Low T is a problem however. As always, listen to your body and give it ample time to adjust to the increase of T before making changes. You\'re a very bright man HC and I trust that you will adhere to your physician\'s advice. It\'s a privilege to know you and I find your ability to research any subject of interest encouraging. Undertaking such an endeavor will hopefully prove worthwhile for both yourself and others.

It\'s true that the anti-ageing clinics propose almost as a matter of principle to inject you with Testosterone at the same time as with Human Growth Hormone. I realize that the latter is usually quite lower when one gets older, so it is maybe more straightforward to do outright. But when it comes to Testosterone it is a far more specifically targeted chemical in its effects and therefore might need to be more closely monitored before and during treatment?

Razor, can you give us an update on your procedure? This thread turned into a clinic on hormone therapy, LOL.

I\'m interested in if Razor was able to achieve any gains Erect. I too am thinking about getting length and lipo shortly and I am leaning to the scrotal incision by Dr. Camacho. Dr. Rodenthal told me the scrotal incision was a scam (it might be). However, it could have the same results without a visable scar.

I\'m going to wait a few months then get the PMMA Girth procedure by Dr C. Dr C looks like a no brainier with well documented success on this board.

Hello guys, sorry for the late response. I would like to thank Skeptical One for emailing me and updating me about the post. Well it turns out to be a Hormone Therapy thread after all hehe.

As for my surgery, nothing really much to say. Satisfied? Well, I cannot complaint. I still have my 1 cm gain. No gain loss ,, no retraction noticed whatsoever thanks God. Scar amlost invisible, I mean no one can ever say I had a surgery .. which was a priority for me! I did stretching for one month now but with a normal extender device which was really uncomfortable during working hours. I am planning to get the Grip System soon which I believe would be my best shot. I am thinking seriously about DHT Therapy too but I am really confused about the different options proposed in this thread.

As for erections ,, I guess they are still the same. During intercouse 6 weeks after surgery my partner was hurt a bit at the beginning due to deeper penetration ,, which could be probably due to the 1 cm gain but then she got used to it and never complained again!

Bottom line .. invisible scar with 1 cm Flaccid mantained gain with no retraction ,, with more stretching could gain more. For the money I spent ,, I can say I am happy.

After I complete six months of stetching with the grip system plus minus DHT I will probably go for PMMA.

how did you have deeper penetration if you only had an increased in the Flaccid? Are you sure you don\'t mean you gained 1 cm in Erect... I don\'t see how else she would be hurt by it unless it was in the Erect stage...

1cm or one Inch? 1cm is about 1/3rd of an Inch, I would figure you would gain 1-2 inches Flaccid. 1/3 to 1/2 Inch in Erect gain. I do like the invisible scar. Congrats!

Just to clarify, have you gained 1cm both flaccid and erect? Also, did you say you had the scrotal incision?

I haven\'t had the surgery done yet, but what I will say is hang on in there. Stick religiously to the hanging routine that has been recommended to you by your surgeon, it\'s still early days yet fella!

I\'m wondering the same. Assuming you spent more than a few hundred dollars to gain less than 1/2\" in length Flaccid, or Erect seems like an awfully expensive small amount of \'gain\'. Even if you are in the privileged few crowd where \"money is no object\".
