TOPIC: Does PMMA bind to the skin or to the tunica? And how is it injected in "growers"?

Does PMMA bind to the skin or to the tunica? And how is it injected in "growers"? 10 years 10 months ago #1278063461

I was just wondering about this...especially if the PMMA is supposed to elicit a response from the body to create more collagen. Where exactly does the PMMA bind and create more collagen? I know it is injected between the skin and tunica...but I\'d assume you\'d never want it to bind to the tunica because it could prevent normal erections. So, does it bind to the skin? Or does it stay free floating? (basically, does it feel like your skin is thicker or your underlying shaft is thicker...or that there\'s something sitting in the middle?) I am considering this very seriously after Peyronie\'s disease robbed me of 1\" Girth 3 years ago... but I don\'t really want to trigger the same process that over-created collagen in the first place (and turned it into scar tissue).

Also, I only am 5.5\" Erect and like 3\" Flaccid...so does the doctor stretch it out to inject it into the \"full Erect length\" of the penis? If so, then, when it retracts back to 3\" Flaccid, does it cause the PMMA to bunch up or something? Or are you supposed to keep it stretched for a few weeks? I\'ve read conflicting things here - one guy posted about his \"Turtling issue\" which seems like it would happen to me - but not many others reported this. I can\'t figure out why that doesn\'t happen to everyone... I mean, not everyone is a \"shower\". Nobody gains length from PMMA, right? I might have to have surgery to get some length back before I do PMMA... but most PD surgeries just focus on the curve and you actually lose length.

I am just totally intrigued that there is a possible solution to the hell I have gone through in the last 3 years with PD giving me a pencil Dick. Thanks a lot for any advice.

The answers to these questions are all through the forum here.

5.5\" BPEL or NBPEL? If the latter, you are normal.

No, you will not gain Erect length from PMMA, but you may experience an increase in Flaccid length.
Everyone is different, but a lot of guys report less retraction in the Flaccid state post PMMA.

He\'ll stretch out your penis and fill yhr entire shaft. This is why it is very important to prevent retraction after the procedure for the first 48 hours.

It feels like thick skin.

Thanks Hulk. That makes sense that it would bind to the skin and also that you need to keep it stretched until it\'s done.

I hardly even measure it anymore bc it is too depressing and fairly different if I take viagra or not. Erections with PD are weaker...which also makes it smaller.
