I\'m not trying to hijack the thread here, I just feel like this is relevant to the topic, and didn\'t want to make a new thread for one question. Olafspo, my understanding is that you are English-speaking (as in, it is your native tongue). How difficult was it to get around in Prague without speaking the language? I am from the east coast of the U.S. and I still think it is more economical for me to travel to Prague for this procedure. But realistically, I would be spending a day or two in Prague before returning to the states.

Hi. Well I did not get around in Prague. I just drove there, got the procedure and drove back home.
But I guess you won't have any problems getting around as an english-only speaker.

if you have to talk to someone, you could just get one of those translators on your phone, and type what you wanna say and then show them the translated version.

getting around prgue isnt difficult.

lots of taxi drivers speak some english,
all i did was wrote down the addresses of my hotel and the clinic in nice bold letters for taxi drivers to read.
hotel staff generally speak good english, bars and restaurants too.

learn to say, hello, yes, no, please and thankyou. and you\'ll be fine.
trying to explain stuff to Dr Nemeckova can be more difficult.
