TOPIC: Strong blood flow & Better PMMA response

Strong blood flow & Better PMMA response 9 years 1 month ago #1286136717

I\'ve got a theory about some of the differing responses to PMMA we\'ve seen. One thing wade said is that the only semi-consistent results he\'s seen are age-related. There have been a number of exceptions to this by some of the older guys here.

Also, we know that subsequent PMMA rounds produce less growth, and I wonder if this is because they\'re not getting the same exposure to capillaries in the penis that the first layer did (because now they\'re in the fibrotic layer).

I have notoriously poor lower extremity blood flow (leg cramps all the time) and ED. I can take medicine (Trental) for this along with some supplements (carnitine esters, arginine, and other things like that - plus the daily 5 mg Cialis). I don\'t think collagen supplements do anything for a response to PMMA (most is dissolved by the stomach into component proteins), but I DO think blood flow will have 2 significant effects:

1. Make the immune response strong so a lot of the beads are encapsulated (more possible with good blood flow).
2. Cause the PMMA fibrotic/collagen tissue to be filled with new capillaries (which can take months). The more blood supply that this area has, the more it will grow and stabilize, in theory. Think about fat grafting...you see the \"dead\" fat disappearing and the other fat turning nodular. These guys have fat put in all over the place and it does not get even blood supply. In the PMMA case, it\'s very different than fat, so PMMA isn\'t going to lead to this generally, but this was just an illustrative example of the importance of good and consistent blood flow.

I\'m very curious about your opinions on all this. The board has been quiet lately, but I\'m thinking of putting up a poll to ask about EQ (which is a sign of blood flow) and PMMA response. For now, i\'m just curious what you think. Age just happens to correlate with better blood flow and EQ - but I don\'t think age is the primary correlate to PMMA response.

I\'m bringing all this up because for round 3, I\'m considering staying on a few medications and supplements to enhance blood flow (arginine, acetyl-l-carnitine and propiotyl-l-carnitine...along with Cialis and trental... coq10 is good but increases bleeding and bruising).. Prof lemperle (via wade) said Trental won\'t slow down the fibrotic process (it inhibits part of the immune response as a side effect, not as the primary role of the drug)...and I wonder if it might even help the growth. Trental makes your red blood cells less \"sticky\" basically.

I have nothing to add to the theory you\'ve propounded but I have a suggestion about improving circulation. Aside from supplements, you should be eating food that is rich in nitrates, which will increase your Nitric Oxide production. You probably already know this, but nitric oxide is crucial for circulation and Erection quality. As far as I know, the highest concentration of nitrates is to be found in beets. Eat as many beets as you can, or drink beet juice. Although I should warn you, if you drink beet juice, start out light; if you drink too much at once, you can become nauseated. Beets are intense. Second is arugula and then spinach for greens. Also, take fresh garlic, crush it, and let it sit at room temperature for ten minutes. When exposed to air, garlic forms allicin, which is a property that influences and increases NO production.

I wonder if the area you injured is deeper in. The PMMA goes on a fairly superficial plane in the penis...outside of the erectile tissue...below the skin...that small envelope there.

Next time, I\'m taking 5 mg Cialis for at least a week before and after - plus some of the amino acids known to help blood flow.

Since I\'ve been on this penis cocktail for nearly 3 months, it\'s reduced the lingering post-op pain I\'ve had...more recently. It also made my Flaccid huge. I think Cialis is 80% of it though... though arginine and acetyl-l-carnitine do something subtle & build over time.

(edit - post op from my peyronies surgery which can cause pain for a year or more - not PMMA)

lol weed helps this? I thought it inhibited Testosterone or something like that? Dr. Drew was always so anti-pot cuz supposedly you could get man-boobs and ED in your 20s if you smoked too much.

(edit: or was my essay so long that you feel like having a bong hit now... HA)

THC increases vasodilation. This is why weed smokers get red eyes.
