Make sure you do not over apply the silver nitrate. It can have some bad side effects if used too liberally. It is also used to melt warts.

By the way Restoration you are calling the tissue necrotic, I think you are mistaken. Two doctors told me that it was just connective tissue, but it had to go to make room for viable tissue. Connective tissue is a lot less stressful than Necrosis as a concept I think.

I agree with Hoddle, you need a break from the stress, those are not noticeable and no they don\'t look like HPV or removed warts. I have scars all over my body from all sorts of things -it\'s just life in general. Your Dick is 100% fine and normal except for the 1 issue of connective tissue which will heal on its own back to the way it was.

My understanding is that it\'s basically a combination of granulation tissue and some dead cells. \"Necrotic\" sounds bad - it just means some of the cells didn\'t get eaten by the immune system so they\'re sitting on the surface still. If you scraped if off, most of the cells (the yellow part) would be dead cells. The pink / white tissue is connective tissue (granulation tissue).

I\'m glad you don\'t think it\'s that noticeable or looks like I had something removed. It\'s very early anyway and it can look totally different in a few mos. So, if it\'s not bad now, then that\'s a good sign.

One thing I really want to make clear is that this thread has nothing to do with Dr. C. I went to a derm in the USA to remove 2 nodules. I removed a few on my own because I am insane (and once upon a time, I did surgery on animal brains - hope no PETA people are here - but we followed all the rules) - but the worst looking one was done by a derm. (I was more detailed about the research I used to do in another post, but after the DWD thing - I edited it out for privacy.)

Dr. C changed my life after 2 rounds...even with the modest gain of 0.5-0.6\" (mostly gained in round 1 I think). I should\'ve stopped at that point, but I was in the mindset of \"I already have PMMA in me, so why not just get a big Dick instead of an average one\". I was still 4.75 in the circ area (started at ~4.25).

I do not know what happened this time. Nobody does - not a derm, not a pathologist, not anyone I\'ve talked to who knows about the immune system. The only theory is that we already know something is up with me since I don\'t gain much from PMMA and I had nodules every time (small ones with metacrill). So, therefore we think my body is a little slow to respond. Research shows that you develop a response to PMMA rapidly, and fibroblasts are visible in 24 hours (I believe this was in a mouse model, not sure - i can\'t find that paper now). Now, that\'s the average. What if I am delayed 48 hours or somehow subdued from responding. That lets the PMMA leak out the holes or pool there. Also, since I had a stable metacrill \"implant\" for 7 months - and then decided to add linnea safe on top - perhaps there was some problem where the new material couldn\'t bind to the old stuff & started leaking out 10x as much - or maybe it triggered an immune response that was more aggressive - AND attacked the old metacrill (because I have hard lumps all over now). These are all just theories - and nobody knows. Linnea safe also has a different carrier, so maybe my body didn\'t like that or couldn\'t \"see\" the PMMA in that carrier.

A couple years ago, they put tape over the holes I believe from some old pics... in my case, maybe that would\'ve been better - but how do you know that in advance? And, maybe it would\'ve been worse. The more I think about it - I wonder if some kind of plug could go in there - like a tear duct plug used for people with dry eye. Though, then that could leave voids rather than lumps...who knows. This is not an easy procedure to do.

Anyway, just wanted to clarify again this thread is not related to Dr. C. It\'s just to talk about the healing from the Nodule Removal because I was stressed out over the scars (particularly the one that\'s been open for 5 weeks) & there\'s very little on the internet about any penile incision healing except circumcisions in adults which isn\'t that helpful.

This is 7 weeks after the Nodule was removed. The other sites are healed or in normal healing phases. I can\'t believe this...

I emailed my original Urologist to ask what I should do and he thought that it was due to the PMMA still being in the tissue - and it should be cut out again (third time now) - and re-stitched. I think the Dermatologist did his best, but there are subtle things about stitching the penis that he may not have experience with.

I haven\'t masturbated in 7 weeks except maybe 2 times (because I don\'t want to interfere with the healing)... I can\'t meet anyone (for any sexual liaison)... and it\'s just making me nuts. I am not sure if this will ever heal on its own or if I should take the other doctor\'s advice and have it cut out again. I am leaning towards doing that considering that the other sites healed ok and they did NOT have cautery. I also wonder if the cautery melted the PMMA into my skin and it can\'t heal.

My summer has basically been thrown in the garbage from this too... I have avoided all parties and social things because I don\'t want to be in a sexual situation... half the fun of some of these things is hooking up. I am a slut without a Dick I can use, and it\'s not going well. When I had a tiny Dick & peyronies, at least I could have sex. Nobody is touching this. I\'ve lost the motivation to work out or eat properly as well - since March.

The yellow tissue is solid as a rock - I can\'t break it up on my own. I\'ve used Celacyn on my other scars and they seem to be doing pretty well.

Sorry to hear about this. Is it possible to have a tiny piece of the white section biopsied and examined by a pathologist. Perhaps it is melted PMMA and needs to be excised ? But if not, it seems like it would be better off to leave it be longer in hopes it will heal. I hope it is not painful.

Sorry about your ordeal but don\'t let that prevent you from attending social functions. You can always politely turn down sex, or at the very least, exchange numbers in hopes of a future hook up when all is well. And social interaction shouldn\'t be solely for the pursuit of hookups... you could also make some new friends & network as you go. You can do all of this and address your situation in your downtime. The sex-is-everything attitude isn\'t a healthy one, try not dismissing your summer, fall & winter over it. With patience & informed decision making, I\'m confident you\'ll have this seen through. Till then, find things to occupy your mind with, including social outings, etc.
