TOPIC: My Penith Lengthening surgery

My Penith Lengthening surgery 8 years 6 months ago #1289534329

Hello everyone. I\'ve been getting a lot of questions about the surgery in my inbox and thought I\'d just answer in one post so Mods you can delete this eventually since its not serving a purpose on the forum.

After putting a lot of thought into this, I\'ve decided to cancel my appointment I had this month for the surgery. After seeing photos and the size of the incision it\'s just very scary for me and I wouldn\'t want that on my body. Also I enjoy having trimmed pubes so with this surgery I may have to carry a bush to hide the scar with no guarantee that I\'ll gain length which would make me look smaller with the added pubic hair.

The risk vs reward was too imbalanced for me which is what helped me come to my decision. The incision size was really the decision maker for me. I hope this doesn\'t deter anyone else from it as I read the doctor performing this surgery is very skilled. It, just wasn\'t for me. I already have a scar on my penis from birth and just dont want things to get even worse for me so that was the deciding factor. I will go back to manual pe for length (Look out for that in my thread, link below) and fingers crossed that their will be a better Girth surgery option once I reach my desired length. Thanks for reading, and good luck on your journey.

I would love to see the incision also (I wouldn\'t call it a scar yet) but its up to the individual to feel comfortable enough to show it.

I\'m confused. Ballyhoo jumps in on this thread and praises his experience and Dr Ress, but totally dodges Hoddles request to show a photo of his scar? If I missed something here, I apologize in advance.

Also some of the silicone products for lessening scars along with the creams that are out to help work pretty good. We used the silicone scar strips for my wife when she had breast implants done and they lightened up her scars about 60%. But we didn\'t try them until a couple months after the procedure. If you started out sooner rather than later I know they\'d work even better. So keep that in mind, lots of products that help with scars nowadays.

Understand about the scar, vitamin e oil does wonders. Who knows maybe you\'ll see some of are results in the future and decide to go for it, if so I give high praise to Dr Ress.
P.s. I am not getting paid to say that, nor am I affiliated with penith. Maybe it\'s the meds again, lol. Plus if any 1 is considering goin with penith, I can say he will treat you as an individual so not just a cadaver. Oh and my Balls were like grapefruits for a couple days, my wife really loved it when I kept showing her, lol.

@ballyhoo... Good luck on your journey bro... I really hope your results are awesome. I also advised anyone who\'s interested to do their own research and deside for themselves because we all have our level of deal breakers. The incision \"for me\" was mines. I just couldn\'t live with havin that scar not knowing how it would heal was very scary for me. I\'ll be following your progress tho. Good luck.

Smalljay, you hit the nail on the head. I\'m full of it today, must be the meds, lol. When I made the decision to go forward ,the person besides myself that help me with the choice is my wife. But anyways I know this is not the place for guidance, I use it for information purposes. No offense to those who look for reassurance here. You must do your own home work and make a educated decision.

@Ballyhoo, thanks for posting. I know you don\'t want to say too much at the moment, but is it possible that you could post some photos of the incision? I think that is one of the key concerns at the moment as most if us were surprised by Cya@8\'s. So it would be really useful to see if yours also.

Ok I am gonna chime in here, I\'m 12 days post op. Went into this with some knowledge of the pros and cons. Dr Ress in my opinion is very professional and kind. I would definitely not have thought of doing this ever, I was actually looking for Girth enhancement. But after researching Dr Ress, I was like what the heck. Yes it hurt, it is surgery after all. You have to consider risk vs gain , pun kinda intended, lol. It is really to soon to say or describe gains, but does feal noticeably different in position, nothing freakish or unnatural looking . I would have to say it will be about 6 months before I can give a real report . But for now it does hang lower . As far as description of my surgery I will reserve my right to not give a detailed description or information, out of professional courtesy for the doc.

Thanks for the support guys. This wasn\'t an easy decision for me since I was \"chosen\" for the free procedure and didn\'t want to feel like I was throwing the opportunity away. But I\'m happy with my decision to cancel, and don\'t regret it.

New1inch, I support your decision based on scarring. I\'m not sure what type of surgery you were appointed for and then cancelled, but I know about scars.

I had the lig cut, webbing removed, and an alloderm graft at the same time back in 2000. He went from the base of the penis, but not high enough for my liking. It shows even when my pubes grow out because the hair doesn\'t grow there. The scar looks like an upside down T. I could accept a straight horizontal incision that would blend with the skin fold, but why the vertical one? I hate it.
