TOPIC: Any updates from silicone microdroplet patients?

How are you all doing? My understanding is that this is a nearly risk free (in terms of nodules), but you wouldn\'t get much Girth.

For those who got it - how much size did it provide?

I have an abrupt divot where some PMMA and skin was cut out (due to the Dermatologist in the USA screwing up the minor Nodule excision - which I linked in my signature line)...it looks weird...feels weird... but Dr. C and I don\'t think PMMA is a great idea for me.

Even a 1/4\" gain at the circ area would be great so there wasn\'t such an abrupt drop (depending on the day - I measured the circ at 4.25-4.5 since so much was removed). It might soften the ridges too - which would be nice. I\'m just thinking about it - I know I said I\'m done w/ all this - but who knows. As time goes on & the skin doesn\'t seem to stretch & I literally got rug burn from ordinary sex...I\'m thinking of options.

I\'m sure a lot of people are curious how the silicone recipients are anyway, aside from me. Thanks!

I just read this on real self... I was surprised.

Silikon 1000 is a product that can be used for lip augmentation. I have many patients who have undergone lip augmentation with silicone by other physicians, but I choose to avoid silicone or silikon 1000 injections altogether. Rather, on a weekly basis, I correct silicone lip complications resulting from migration, inflammation, nodule formation, and generalized infection.

Then, another surgeon followed up and said:

The potential for Silikon 1000 to migrate is likely related to the method of injection with a depot technique more likely to be associated with this. The use of the microdroplet technique with conservative lip augmetnation is puported to lower the risk of this complication. It is an off-label indication.

So, obviously Avanti uses the microdroplet technique, which sounds a lot safer then - without the risks that people think of when they hear silicone.

The top left lump was the largest, and it got removed with no problems.

All of the problems happened when the incision didn\'t heal.

I left a lot of lumps behind after that ordeal. Now, I would just prefer to camouflage them.

Also, the lumps on the top half of the penis are more visible and palpable than on the bottom half, so that\'s why I removed those. Camouflage wasn\'t really an option for those...and I could\'ve gotten more nodules too. Unfortunately also - when one of those removals went bad, I had to get all the skin cut out around it so that it would heal. Then, when that happened, it pulled the skin so tight that other lumps became extremely prominent.

So...it all started with one bad Dermatologist who left me with an open wound for two months. If that never happened, I wouldn\'t have had any issue with surgical Removal & barely any scars. Basically, everything was a domino effect from that idiot Dermatologist who used (1) the wrong Sutures (2) rushed (3) used the wrong suture technique. Nobody uses silk Sutures, and doing it superficially was asking for more problems. In areas where lumps were properly excised, I have thin hairline scars & complete wound healing.

I\'ve spoken with Wade via email on the micro droplet technique. It sounds like they are getting great results and its part of their protocol for lumps, nodules, ridges etc

I\'m uncut and it sounds ideal for behind glans and around Foreskin area. I think the fact it is softer allows you to add some volume and retain Foreskin, something that is not guaranteed with PMMA.

@Restoration - I was always surprised that you chose surgical Removal of the lumps, rather than camouflage using the micro droplets. If you\'re really considering more surgical Removal, I\'d have thought that the micro droplet technique would hide your lumps and imperfections while adding a small amount of Girth at the same time, all with low risk and limited downtime. I\'m no expert but I\'ve had to consider options as I had similar lumps to you. This is just my thought based on reading progress reports and talking with Wade and Dr. C.

Yeah I think that\'s why he\'s been using it and pushing it. To me it looked I guess a little more refined is the best way to put it.

I believe wade said they\'ve done entire penis\'s this way with multiple, multiple rounds.
I was happy with a 10%-30% mix and top it off with micro drops. Think I\'m doing them with my last round in March.

Basically describes exactly my last round.

On top of the PMMA I got, I only had 4.5ccs of the micro-drops (the circ region, a bit top center about 1\" down from circ area (a stubborn area that just wouldn\'t go up with PMMA) and the top of the base near where it meets my fat pad).

To be honest I can\'t really tell a huge difference... I mean likely it did something but there\'s no way for me to tell what\'s the result of the PMMA and what\'s the result of the silicone micro-droplets... then again maybe that\'s a good thing.

This is what I want to fix. Do you think silicone could do it? This is the side that was not cut into... on the other side, the same thing is going on but it\'s mostly visible from the top.

I am going to have scars forever, and I don\'t know how much skin I\'ll ever get back - so I guess I just want to fix what I can. There\'s even still a ball of PMMA under my shaft still - if you are wondering what that is...it\'s not my finger. My doctor didn\'t remove the whole thing.

Yeah, I thought that too - S.O. I asked because of any risk there would be little skin bumps. Doesn\'t sound like it if it\'s deep though.

I was under the impression it was more superficial (as in higher up) than where the PMMA was injected, but I could be wrong.

It is injected in very small drops in the same plane.

Is it injected on the same plane as the Metacrill (between bucks and dartos) - or do they put it up higher? I wonder how it manages not to slip around. PMMA seems to follow the path of least resistance in some cases.

I obtained a sizable increase in Girth from micro drops. It also seems to feel more natural and it stays where it is injected.

With the few silicone PR\'s floating around, I\'ve been pretty impressed with the short-term results. So much so that I\'ve contemplated a (hopefully) final Revision in my only problem area: tight skin behind glans, north of circum line, marred minimally by small nodules & ridges. If I get said-procedure done, I\'ll update the forum, but this probably wont happen (if at all) until Summer.

Yeah great question, I was thinking about making a post just like this.

Another question: does it stay in place better than PMMA? I remember hearing that it might be better at staying in the circ area, where PMMA sometimes has difficulty staying put.
