TOPIC: FFT then HA?

FFT then HA? 7 years 1 month ago #1294803991

I\'m scheduled for HA injections end of march, but contemplated FFT -w/ prp. I read that the more fat you have injected the less likelihood of survival - as the fat cannot get a good blood supply. Would it make more sense to have a small amount of FFT/PRP first then HA?

I dont have the sack to do PMMA...

First procedure in 2016. Over 100cc was used. My penis looked like a balloon it was so swollen no PRP was used. Not sure about micro fat. Was told it was a fat transfer/stem cell. Procedure. 2nd procedure 6 months later by different doctor done to improve aesthetics only 12cc was used which included 3 cc of prp

Thanks for your update! Can you remember which amount of fat was injected in your case? And also, was it micro fat?

I had fat/stem cell transfer. Led to believe that 'his method' was better ..no centrifuge, small cannula etc etc. Guess what Reklaw is correct. A year and a half later lumps (one large one ) that Morgsnstern has fixed but a few more smaller ones have appeared. At least go to someone who acknowledges that this will probably happen , and ask how they will fix , and how many they have done ..I wouldn't have it done again. Too much money and time spent In hindsight if I chose FFT. I would use Dr Giunta based on his experience or Morganstern since I know he knows how to deal with lumps .. But probably would save my money

What about if fat mixed with prp and or stem cell? Wouldn\'t it help prevent the issue instead of pure FFT.

Since their are merits with prp and stem cells

Is not about weather it survives or not, it\'s about the fact that it will go lumpy and look/feel hideously unnatural.
At least with PMMA once you get a lump/Nodule it stays there
If you have FFT you may get a lump, spend a year trying to deal with that, successfully get rid of it only for another lump to appear somewhere completely different soon after, and this may go on for 20 years, because fat is a completely unstable substance to have in the subcutaneous layer.
At least with HA you can correct any issues in 24 hours using hyalauronidaise and more HA.
Ellanse is almost guaranteed to look and feel more natural than fat because it\'s a stimulatory filler that clings to your dartos and will most likely not move about and feel firm.
Seriously man forget about fat, it\'s a crazy idea.

i think the gradually built up with fat would certainly work better that injecting huge amount at once as they are use to do. don t know at which point it really works well or not

in term of foreign body i would not be to worried with HA .. this is a substance naturally present in your body and not something as dodgy as PMMA or others ..

fat is only bad if it can\'t recruit blood, correct? So if you aren\'t overly aggressive with the amount injected, shouldn\'t it survive - and you aren\'t putting foreign material in the body.

Why on earth would you consider fat ?
It has the worst track record of any filler.

Ok thanks! 100cc is a lot. My surgeon is quite an expert in this field, I mean not particular in PE but in fat transfer. I had another procedure done, and now thinking of it to improve scarring. I think he would use either 10cc or 20cc if I remember it correctly. Still undecided...anyway , hope your situation will improve!
