TOPIC: Massage after breaking up lumps with cannula?

Massage after breaking up lumps with cannula? 7 years 1 month ago #1294980586

I\'m seeing Dr N. next week as I still have lumpy mass on the left of the shaft with some hard spots which stick out when Erect.

I\'ll be requesting that she break them up with the cannula. She did this before and was very aggressive and it worked pretty well.

My question to the forum is whether there is benefit in massage or shaping after this procedure. I was considering putting a sleeve on after the procedure. The logic is that there will be lots of PMMA beads and collagen freshly mashed up and potentially floating around. If I wear a sleeve it just might encourage everything to settle and re-form in the smooth shape I hope for.

My understanding of biology isn\'t good enough to gauge how helpful this might be.

It\'s a common concern so I\'ll update my thread with my results.

I think people who have worn sleeves were not happy as the pressure is not really even and some guys have had it push up to their pubic area - and yes I would massage as particles have a natural way of clumping. Dr. N has an entirely different protocol than Dr. C - almost the exact opposite so I only know what Dr. C recommends and that is massage it a lot. You also need to push it up as you are doing it as gravity will pull it down naturally. Sometimes that won\'t show up until the collagen kicks in but it will give you a bat effect. I had a lump that was soft and pushed the fuck out of it until it went away. I also had it broken up and more PMMA to flatten it down - but it went away in the end.

@10003 Thanks for detailed reply.

I\'ve previously visited both Dr C and Dr N and familiar with the different protocols. I really like both doctors very much.

I\'m convinced on the need for massage but unsure whether it truly makes any difference if the PMMA is already set in collagen. Can the process of breaking up with cannula truly pave the way for a fresh re-arrangement of PMMA through massage? I\'ve not found any posts on this specific question.

With your lump that you \"pushed the fuck out of\", was this just after treatment or later on when everything was settled?

Thanks for your input.

I almost never stopped massing between visits as I just thought it would help keep the PMMA form better - but if the lump is there it probably will not do too much. The lump which was biggish and I could pull up happened in spite of all my massaging after my first round - it just showed up 1 day. The second visit they broke it up with the cannula and added PMMA to it to matt it down. That worked but I had a high spot where the lump was from all the collagen - but the lump was gone. 3rd visit was just the Silikon to even out the height which worked - so now I have no lump and no high spot - but I also pushed that area down a lot and kneaded it a lot after it was broken up.

I was thinking break up the Nodule aggressively with a needle and inject a lot of local anaesthetic to \'float\' the PMMA around allow massage to spread it more than it would otherwise. Just a thought.

Thankyou Dr Oates for your reply. I didn\'t fully understand your suggestion but requested additional anaesthetic in case its helpful.

Dr N. really attacks those lumps. You can hear them breaking up or atleast being pierced by the cannula. It makes just the noise you want to hear because it feels like the lumps are being demolished. She is far more aggressive with the lumps than Dr C and only time will tell whether that is a good, bad or irrelevant.

She also puts in what she describes at \'corticoids\' at the end. I\'m not sure if this is actually Kenalog or a different type of steroid.

I\'m reassured that she has a clear protocol for these kind of lumps and she seems confident in what needs to be done.

She has advised me to leave it today and do a 5 minute massage for the next 4-5 days. This stuff is so experimental and its hard to know whether to follow that advice or just massage it loads as @10003 did successfully.
