Could you guys leverage local protection agencies -- just short of suing, or perhaps as a initial state?

Better business Bureau comes to mind.

the thing is i always hear somebody here saying they will sue dr elist and a few months go by and nothing happens. i saw alot of posts about a lawsuit but no body actually goes through wit it or if they do they dont keep us posted here. I wish somebody would actually go through with it once and for all just to see if it can happen or not. lets break the ice and somebody please just go through with it. its time to stop talking about it and do it.

One reason lawsuits in general are difficult to pursue is that the doctor has you sign virtually everything away, absolving him of a lot of post-op liability, since after all, you were willing to take the risk.

I talked to several lawyers back in 2009, none were willing to take me on, maybe I should have sent pictures.

I talked to someone last week on here & they too have talked to like 15 lawyers, none of which wanted his case. Elist, the Beverly Hills butcher is connected & has a lot of pool. Seems like no one wants to go after him...........maybe a bunch of guys (like 30 or 40 guys) picketing in front of his office building will get the ball rolling.............this guy wont be stopped unless we do something about it.

If I ever hit the mega-millions or powerball, I will take out ads in every major newspaper in the country telling everyone what he all about & will post up billboards about him (but thats all a dream for now)

If the law isn\'t getting involved (and this is most likely due to waivers that were signed), than that doesn\'t mean Medical Boards can\'t. Whether this is a legal matter or not is for a court to decide, but the ethics of it all is without question - and there needs to be some type of review at the very least.

smallja wrote: Sorry to revive something old, but this thread is absolutely mindblowing. A real life case of a guy dolling out hell on earth en masse through deceptive practices. What an unbelievable nightmare, I feel for all of you, including OP. Mustangs thread was unbelievable as well, but this one just has so many complaints from various people. Really is amazing when you visit Elist\'s website and look at the list of risks (all of which are delivered in a way to make you think they\'re avoidable or fixable), as well as the claim that serious side effects are very rare, and even that it has an (estimated) 95% success rate!

95% certainly does not reflect the content of this thread, unless you\'re talking about the disaster rate. Best of luck to you all, and I mean that.

LOL
95% success rate? Well, when I was on the now infamous Mynewsize site , I befriended at least a dozen guys who got the implant. Since then, all of them (less one) have had theirs removed due to one reason or another.
Unless the Mynewsize website was just incredibly bad luck for implant recipients, you could probably do the math and figure that a 95% success rate is a little overstated.
MM
Perhaps what t the doctor means by \" success\" is that we all get to keep our penises (albeit shorter) after the horrific experience and subsequent Removal?

My story is too complicated and distressing to go into full detail. I had the implant, it got infected. I went back to Elist he took it out. I was out $10,000 plus my expenses. Then I was left with adhesions so severe i couldn\'t get an erecton. So the good doctor gave me cortizone to inject into my own penis! I ended up getting MRSA, went to a urgent care center they gave me an inappropriate antibiotic and two weeks later I was on deaths bed in emergency surgery. The infection tunneled from the base of my penis down into my scrotum. They had to remove my left testicle and I was left with an open wound and had to be on a wound vac for 3 months. Now my penis is smaller than originally and does not work. It is completely irresponsible for Dr Elist to perform these surgeries and not be there to do follow up care. You may as well be going to Mexico. Responsibly he should be affiliated with other doctors to provide follow-up. I am looking to get a class action suit together. Originally I liked him but now I see him for what he is. THE BUTCHER OF LA I have all the pictures of this pathetic butchers work on my body. It doesn\'t cost that much to have a web site right next to his! Eventually we will all be vindicated. Hopefully a law group will eventually be found that has the passion to go after this butcher. And it is Dr. Elist\'s own FDA approved product don\'t forget. I did verify his patent and the FDA approval.

Sorry to hear of your troubles with this procedure & physician. There are some discussions that you may find of interest found here:

phalloboards.websitetoolbox.com/post/con...list-implant-6292992

phalloboards.websitetoolbox.com/post/the...-will-it-end-6195095

And using the Search function on both this site and our old site (phalloplasty.proboards.com). As for the first link I posted, I have decided to pin it up on the main page since the ratio of dissatisfied implant patients (many) to notably happy patients (zero) has pushed my hand. This kind of thing should be public knowledge, and the open sharing of authentic personal experiences can help put to rest this very obsolete (and seemingly dangerous) method for penis enlargement.

Again, sorry to hear about what has happened and I hope you can elaborate more (perhaps in the Manifesto link I first mentioned above) when you have the time. There is hope, some of our members have reported returning to normalcy after having had the implant removed. Good luck!

PatrickEire wrote: first of all, I want to thank Sceptie e for making me aware of this forum. Secondly, since I am new here, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Patrick, I am a 35-year-old from Ireland, and I had surgery with Dr. Elist in January of 2010 (penile implant). I have taken out a huge loan to travel to the US, stay at a hotel, and most importantly, have the surgery done. It will be another 3 years before my loan is paid off!
Initially, I was very happy with Dr. Elist\'s implant. I did have some serious initial pain, which far exceeded the \"moderate\" pain described on his web site. However, after about 2 weeks I was almost pain free and the healing went well. After about 10 weeks, I was able to have \"light\" sex with my wife.
Like many others have reported, I could feel the edges of the implant and a sharp tip pointing to my penis head (on top, where the two halfs were stitched together). The implant material itself seemed very sturdy / hard inside my penis. It was very noticeable to the touch, but it did look really well. And I finally felt comfortable using public urinals, etc. I really loved the look of my new penis.
About 3 months ago, having had normal sex with my wife (not hardcore, but not light either, just \"normal\"), my penis was sore all night and the next day. I started to feel sick and in the following night, my body temperature rose to 104 degrees. My wife gave me 2 Paracetamol tablets every 4 hours to get the temperature down to normal. My penis, scrotum, and pubic mound hurt like hell and everything was very swollen. I wrote to Dr. Elist, who told me to see my GP and have him prescribe very strong antibiotics. Of course, my GP examined me very thoroughly and, not knowing what that was inside my penis, questioned whether this was a good thing to have. It took 3 full weeks for the swelling to go down. I have taken the Antibiotics for those full three weeks.
During this time, and afterwards, my local GP kept re-examining me and he explained that the material in my penis had become loose an the sharp tip and/or the edges caused microscopically small injuries, which, in turn, caused the infection. I have contacted Dr. Elist several times after this for advise, but he only asked for pictures and once I had sent them, he would not write back to me.
Can any of you give me any advise? My penis is currently causing tolerable pain, but it is certainly deformed, because the implant seems to have dislocated and my penis appears much wider now (not nice!), especially on one side. I might be able to lend some money for another flight to LA, but I certainly cannot pay for another surgery to have the implant repaired or removed by Dr. Elist. I am still paying for the first surgery. Is he ethically or legally required to fix or remove it free of charge? What will happen to my penis if he removes it? Will it be all messed up? I am really frightened.
Also, I have not had sex with my wife since the infection (because I simply can\'t, erections cause pain similar to the pain I had right after surgery) and this can\'t be going on forever. There seems to be no healing on its own. Should I start wrapping my penis again?
I would appreciate any advise any of you could give me. Thanks for your time and concern.
Pat

To answer a lot of questions I\'ve seen about Dr Elist not returning your emails. The website is being managed by Dr. Vaheh and he keeps your emails from reaching Dr. Elist. You\'re being cut off by him.

I\'ve had my implant about 1.5 months and I wish I had seen your stories before having it done. I\'m having a little issue now and I\'m afraid it will get worse.

I\'ve read that a few of you have Dr. Elist\'s personal cell number. Could you please forward that to me by personal message. I\'m not ready to get into my issue at this time, but I am ready to contact him about removing this thing and hope with such a short time with the implant in, I can walk away from this unscathed. If I don\'t receive an answer from this site, I\'ll keep looking for a post on here and possibly contact you. Any help would be appreciated.

No offence, I think it is ridiculous that so many men have had problems with this guy and no one has come up with a way to take action against him, I know, Dr Elist has managed to keep this charade up by using the shame of having \" penis enlargement\" surgery, which most men would never tell the public cause it seen as embarrassing due to penis size. But seriously, if you have been affected, start a web site warning others and where people can post their experiences or just do something instead of suffering in silence. Just an opinion 0.o

Actually, it is the medical/legal system that keeps him in business. He has you sign a ton of papers that says that DEATH can result from this surgery, most Dr will have you sing such papers or you do not get your surgery. Also, there is a time limit after which one can not sue a Dr. By the time some elist patients got into trouble, it was too late to sue him. Sure, there is/was a way but it is not as doable as one might think. He HAS been threatened to be sued and he has settled out of court. He also removed many implant for free where he also have you sign many release papers. He is not stupid.

flag8orfan62 calm Down Brother...

The implant you have is less shitty than the one with the edges.
I had the implant for 16 months, and I just had it it removed with no infections though. My openion is that you have done the damage and lost length anyway, so why remove it right away if you dont have infections ?
please I have done a detailed report on the problems I went though good bad and ugly, read it and learn from my experience.
No one have kept the implant for long time, 2-3 years, And I met people WHO had it for 4 years as well but those are the Lucky ones. My point is there is some joy with that implant and it is Huge size... if you dont have serious truble then keep it and play with it as long you can.
After some time you will hate the stif dildo all the time and the limitation of your movement beside the sensation loss , but I say you need to experience the womens eyes and when they scream of joy, now since you have paid for it.
Length will come back after 1 year or so. And you will enjoy sex after 4 months minimum sometimes up to 6 months.
I was hoping also that if you get the chance to play with it , you might be cured from that mental problem and settle Down or keep your self safe by using streching and pumping.
That Implant cured me from a huge mental problem and today I dont care as much about it as I did before the implant. And you might think of PMMA, and I would advise you not to, because no one knows how it turn out after more years, and if you get a problem with PMMA then believe me its a more dangerouse issue than the implant, its stuff that riun your Heart and might even kill you. With the implant you can maximum lose your penis only lol......
