TOPIC: Alloderm or Belladerm Removal

Alloderm or Belladerm Removal 12 years 2 weeks ago #1272648225

Hey all!
Anyone out there go through alloderm or Belladerm Removal? Just curious how it turns out. I know someone on the board had a problem with the Removal process. When i had my alloderm removed the first time (partial) it seemed easy. When I had the rest removed it was easy too. Though that time I had Belladerm over the alloderm so I guess it is hard to tell what it looks like underneath. I am thinking that, unless it is super attached, it is fairly easy to remove. That said, I was at 5 years by then so perhaps it gets easier to remove as time goes on (because there is less there). On my worst Flaccid day I am now at 4.6\" Girth. Erect goes to 5.25\" Girth. I like the little extra Girth, but I think I was 4.75\" Erect Girth before and 4.25\" Flaccid. I frankly cannot remember. But when I look at the Erect photo pre-alloderm completed Removal (there was hardly any alloderm left) I still like the way my penis looks. So in the most positive sense possible...anyone had a Removal? positive or negative welcome. Just looking for data.
Thanks-Nomad1

Nomad1, I apologize if you\'ve covered this in another post but what specific problems are you experiencing? I\'ve been considering bella with Dr. R for a while now and I\'d like to get as much info as possible about the non-success scenarios. If you don\'t want to share publicly, please PM me. I hope your problems resolve quickly buddy.

I did not have my allo removed. I did start to see some attrition- so I jumped on the PMMA bandwagon. Hard to say what it\'s gonna do under there...? Not planning on getting it removed- why bother? What are your \'issues\'? Are they cosmetic or have you lost length or have sensation/function issues?

Thanks aestheticgirth, it\'s hard to catch up on things after time off from visiting the forum.

Nomad1, you may consider PM\'ing candybars, I chatted with him about a week ago, he is also looking into graft Removal. If your graft is bunching up in the flacid state it seems to me that there may be a danger of asymmetric adhesion. What does Dr. R advise to correct the problem? I would guess that you should prevent retraction as much as possible, whether by persistent stretching with an ADS device or possibly by getting a botox shot. PE is a crazy endeavor, my girlfriend thinks I\'m crazy for considering it, I just want to make sure I completely understand the risks before proceeding. Thank you for sharing your story, I wish you the best.

In my opinion understanding the risks is a bit of a catch 22. You can\'t really understand them until you experience them. The reason for this is that the worst part of a serious complication is the mental trauma and try as you might, it\'s almost impossible to understand what that is like until you experience it. I think the main reason some guys still consider surgery is due to the fact those who have experienced problems haven\'t been able to convey just how devestating it can be.

nomad1, thank you for attempting to convey the mental trauma and delaying of life experiences that your PE journey has caused you. Your post moves me, I wish more people would share their heartache as you have so eloquently done. You\'ve made a believer out of me, I\'m not having surgery, sure the result could be so sweet, but I haven\'t spent enough time thinking about how I will cope if it is bitter. I\'m young and dumb. My mind has been fixed on how much Girth I could gain, but even the most conservative of Phalloplasty surgeons have bad results (think rckinflorida\'s unsatisfactory alloderm graft a la Dr. Reed). I can name more unsatisfied alloderm/Belladerm patients (rckinflorida, yardstick, candybars, nomad1) than satisfied ones (soma, kingpin, justave), and even the satisfied ones had issues and or pursued further augmentation. I will wait patiently for something reliable to come around, maybe PMMA, only time will tell. Thanks again nomad1! I truly hope this journey ends well for you.

I am removing the sensitive posts from this thread. I am glad I touched at least one person considering this path. I have thought about it further and think, in the interest of self-preservation, I am better off going silent. I am sorry I have to take my posts down..

nomad1, I respect your decision on what you wish to share, but I hope (in time) you\'ll continue sharing with us your experiences as they can and will provide invaluable insight to many other men considering similar paths, or at least sharing to an extent that is comfortable for you.
Hope you stick around.
