Swelling is almost completely gone, no more ibuprofen, and things feel absolutely UNREAL!!! Still at 5MSEG and looks completely natural with only a very slight amount of swelling. Come on collagen, you can do it!!
Things that help with collagen production from my research. A collagen supplement as you all know is helpful. According to what I read, 6grams (not milagrams) is the minimum amount per day to have any bennifit at all. I have not read anything on a max. Iv been using Youtheory collagen 1, 2, & 3 types. It comes in a bottle sold on Amazon. There\'s some that are just 1&3 sold at Walgreens, but online there\'s 1, 2, & 3 and TONS cheaper. Other brands don\'t have nearly as much collagen. This suppliment needs to be taken on an empty stomach becuase when it is digested with food, it for some reason isnt collagen anymore. Collagen is expressed in the nutrition facts as protein. Another thing is vitamin C. Huge contributor to the production of collagen. Another big contributor in the production of collagen is Amino Acids. There\'s 2 specific ones that really help and they are threonine and proline. Hi health has a great amino acid supplement for a great price made by ON called AMINO 2222 Tabs. They have 1g protein/tab (amino acids also expressed as protein in nutrition facts). Be warned, they are MONSTER pills. They are way bigger than horse pills. Dont think you can cut them in half and swallow them, the rough edges of the pill after split in half will tear up your throat. Osviously Ive tried it, not fun. But for the price and what they provide, they are great! They too need to be taken on an empty stomach at least 30min before a meal or 3 hours after a meal.
I\'m taking 30grams+ collagen/day, 2000mg+ Vitamin C and 20g+ amino acids. (That\'s 10 tabs of the youtheory supplement 3x/day, and 6 monster pills 3x/day, all on empty stomachs) lets see how much I gain from all this.
