TOPIC: HA Aftercare

There is not much info on the site regarding HA aftercare and the provider who is injecting me does not have as experience with HA as I would like, so I am not sure how thorough their aftercare plan will be. I\'ve read a lot of about PMMA aftercare and I think much of it will be similar to HA. Though I still have questions on how best to handle things after the injection.

What I plan to do:

1. Take Flomax for 1 week for better hang to prevent retraction.
2. Take a post-procedural antibiotic (which the doc will provide).
3. Massage to smooth out lumps.
4. Avoid sex for 2 weeks.

What I am not sure about:

1. How many days do I need to keep doing daily massage? Do I need to massage constantly for 2 days or is once or twice a day enough to avoid clumping?
2. Is avoiding sex for 2 weeks long enough to allow Voluma to set and stop moving?
3. How long should I stay in the city where I am getting the injection before returning to my home city, which is far away? Overnight, 2 days, 5 days?

Hi Randomworld, it\'s such a simple procedure we sometimes think to much into it,

When i had it done i traveled to London on a coach (bus) for around 3 hours so i had the procedure then tucked it in some tight boxers or pants (underwear) then took my bus home ,had a little look in the bus toilets and smiled ? massaged a little but don\'t think necessary yet,when i got home i had a little massage ,then in my personal opinion the morning after the procedure is the time to get a 100% Erection and squeeze any lumps out (not to hard incase its part of your anatomy) if you have a Foreskin make sure HA doesn\'t go in it , it happened to me and i had to remove it which was very simple so don\'t worry . You could put some sort of band around your Dick just beneath Foreskin but not to tight to prevent HA entering .

So to answer your questions

: Yes 2 times a day is fine but i\'m sure you will play with it a lot and thats fine too .

: Yes 2 weeks without sex is good and thats what i did, also no masterbation and if you do just gently do it around the Foreskin area only .

: You can leave the city straightaway if you like

Did you wear an extender? If not, how did you prevent Turtling/retracting after the procedure? (I\'m worried Turtling/retracting will result in bad results).

No i didn\'t use an extender , i didn\'t really leave the house for almost a week so gave me plenty of time to get 3-4 erections a day to mould it ,i\'m not sure if its necessary but i did .

I think Costa had some words of wisdom too.
Massaging is really only an issue if you see any irregularity, otherwise probably not necessary. 2 weeks wait is good - but worth checking the look after in case then you need to massage. The only thing that worries me is infection - but it is incredibly uncommon. I do like 5 days.

How long before I should bath or go swimming? Also 2 weeks?

What do you think about Cephelexin as prophylaxis against infection? If so, what dose and how many days would you take it?
