Hey Everyone,

After reading just about every thread on here (thanks for all the great info), I'm moving on to step 2 and looking at places to have a procedure done. Due to a few circumstances, I'm going to start by talking to a few providers in my local area versus travelling to some of the more well known providers. I have consult meeting setup with them in the coming weeks, but I wanted to see what everyone here would recommend I ask. Off the top of my head, here's what I've got:
  1. How many procedures have you done? Have you had any complications from any of those and what was the final result?
  2. Will you (the Dr) be doing the injections or will they be done by someone else?
  3. What is the recovery process? Do I need to wrap for a certain amount of time?
  4. What is included in the follow-up "touch up" appointment?
  5. What dermal filler specifically do you use?

And just to add some more information:
  • At this point in time, I've determined that a non-permanent injectable (HA) is what I want to go with. After talking with them, I could always change my mind, but there's a little more comfort given that it's "easier" to reverse should there be any complications.
  • My final goal is to get to 6" erect girth. Currently, I'm right around 4.5", so I'd be needing multiple rounds to get the full 1.5" increase.
  • Here are the two locations I am going to be talking to. (I did notice both mention Dr. Perito out of FL, but it seems he's got a patent on the procedure in the US so most procedures are "under" his name, even if it's just in name only.):

For those that have had the procedure done, what else would you recommend asking?

TIA!

I'll try and answer some of your broader questions based on some of the experiences others (and myself) have shared:

1. How many procedures have you done? Have you had any complications from any of those and what was the final result?
Most people undergo one procedure (for Girth) and all subsequent visits usually aimed at more Girth and/or touch-up. Major complications are more common with silicone-based enhancements. Major complications involving non-silicone based fillers are seemingly rare; minor complications are typically aesthetic in nature (i.e. aesthetic irregularities like nodules).

2. Will you (the Dr) be doing the injections or will they be done by someone else?
The Doctor SHOULD be the one performing the procedure, or at the very least, supervising the vast majority of the work. If this isn't the case, request it, or find another practitioner.

3. What is the recovery process? Do I need to wrap for a certain amount of time?
This is highly dependent on the procedure-type. Since you mentioned HA, downtime is minimal, and following your physician's protocol is your best bet.

4. What is included in the follow-up "touch up" appointment?
Either to top-off any lost temporary gains, add more Girth, and/or revise any minor deformities.

5. What Dermal Filler specifically do you use?
There are dermal fillers and volume fillers. Their distinction is how your penis acquires it's new-found Girth. I'd recommend reading all the progress reports spanning back years (even on PhalloBoards.websitetoolbox.com) and compare.

I'm no doctor but these are my answers based on my knowledge of the subject matter, regardless. They are good questions to ask and I'd also include: "What brand of HA are you injecting?" "How many patients have you performed this on?" "Do you have any Before & Afters?" and "Tell me more about your patent and what separates it from the many other physicians offering HA injections".

Also, check your PM. Good luck!
