1) No I do not believe Moderators egg on stupid threads. I also fail to see any sort of lax attitude, but what I do see is a reduction in how often they visit the forum...partly (or mostly) due to the very issue this thread is addressing.

2) The problem is that those \"members\" no longer (or hardly) log in anymore...so if they aren\'t around, can\'t expect them to post about it.

Again you miss the point by miles. The only thing that gets carte blanche is what the fuck I say. Period. As someone stated earlier, why does anyone believe this forum is in any way shape-or-form a democracy? I\'d like to think I\'m both fair-minded and a mostly nice guy. So I do my best to make decisions that keep the integrity of the forum intact while moving the discussion forward. Sometimes those decisions aren\'t always popular or conventional. And while your opinions are helpful & useful, it becomes rather disrespectful when those opinions insinuate that I owe the forum community anything...in spite of the fact that I\'ve been operating & moderating for nearly 6 years...almost daily...having read almost (if not every) post every made...answering (at length) countless emails and PMs...having run this forum out-of-pocket until only recently. And that includes the old forum at Phalloplasty.proboards.com

Actually, if you haven\'t seen that forum before, worth looking around. Was definitely a different scene then.

SO, please, let\'s look at things this way;-

my parameters for research are what filler, firm, moveable,longetivity,cost etc.? I really don\'t give a damn about someones\' Circumcision or squeezing pus from their Dick. However, I missed hunkydory and will miss anyone who leaves. Can we summarize some of these threads? For instance \"Dr Kim from Korea ...\" is almost 400 posts long and could be \"summarized\" to a relevant 30 or 40. \"Dr Muhammad Mirza ...\" can be sieved to remove the posts of someone who wants to inject himself etc. Sometimes we need some relief by interjecting humour and teasing (like my old china number22) and all go to \"healthy research\" keeping objectivity but without schoolboy tension.

A lot of people have benefitted by information and decisions made, but some are crying in pain (because of haste) all due to this board. Whilst all must be thankful, yet you have to be mindful of grown-ups\' dignity and self esteem. I mention again that having \"favourite and long-posting members\" brings an Animal Farm feeling to the mind. People like Galileo sacrificed their lives trying to help mankind and right now, there are those who are assidiously researching vaccines to save millions of mankind. You\'ve done a lot to help us here but let it don\'t get to your head!

There should be debates, opinions, reviews maybe even consensus for anything that would affect the lives and mental state of thousands of \"suffering\" men. Definitely your forum, but once you\'ve made it into a \"forum\" to be kept that way out of regard for others. If the moderators have too much to read, appoint more of the older members (like aleksk who is about to leave) as moderators to help streamline the board.

What I want to know if Aleksk had so many members talking to him over the years, and thats 4 years at least, how since 2012 does he have only 118 posts. And to that point none of that was shared in open forum for all to benefit as he claims stuff should be. He want\'s you to be transparent but is not willing to do the same.

Let him go start his own forum that he can share his procedure with others, since he didn\'t want to share it here. Then he can run it as a democracy if he chooses to.

I don\'t agree for alek to just run off when he doesn\'t like a few things S.O. wants to change. But to call out his post count is stupid. A handful of his posts provide more information than all of your 240 posts combined.

I experienced it only after my third round of 30% (first 2 rounds also full rounds of 30%, everything felt normally squishy after those rounds). But round 3, now half my Dick is rock hard when Flaccid

I didn\'t realize it got that bad for you too. Sorry to hear that. This is what happened to me, exactly. I still have a few of those rock hard lumps in there but the majority were taken out (lots of size lost - the doc couldn\'t really separate the hard stuff from the softer stuff). Did you find anything to help it or did you have any surgical consults to take it out - or are you ok with it? Do you have any idea why this happened? To date, i still have no clue other than I thought it was a product defect based on the pathology showing so much PMMA and few human cells... but perhaps that\'s not it.

Lakings, no disrespect intended, but I wouldn\'t call Aleksk dead weight. He made some pretty valuable contributions to the forum, particularly in the areas of HA asessment and cultivated substantive conversations into optimal fillers for the penis. He contributed with good research and reporting. Frankly, I believe his departure signifies a loss in the quality category, and that\'s never good.

That said, I do agree with Lakings and S.O. in that, while this is a forum, it\'s S.O.\'s forum, which he can moderate as he sees fit. I can understand that, and I hope others can too, including Aleksk.

Sure we can summarize them. Who\'s going to do it though? It\'s a rather tedious task and is laden with its own dilemmas (i.e. determining what to trim and what to keep in order to effectively summarize the content). Should it be me? Between my personal life, work life, and Moderating duties here, I\'m afraid it makes no sense to spend time without compensation. Especially if such work benefits a Mirza or a Casavantes or a Heller or a Giunta...am I actively promoting them without a dime in return? Hell, virtually most work I do to improve efficiency or comprehensiveness of this forum in some way (directly or indirectly) helps someone else make money, whilst I sit and work for free. The money (which has not been a lot) from the viewer fees is hardly an income considering it\'s prioritized to fund the forum, so yea.

I\'m at a loss as to why having favorite posters evokes a \"Animal Farm\" sentiment. It\'s no different than having a favorite actor or band...they are like the rockstars of this particular forum. I like what people post, whether insightful or amusing, and consider them among favorites. That doesn\'t necessarily mean I know them personally or keep in constant contact, nor does it mean they get special privileges. It just means that I genuinely enjoy what they post, and now many of them no longer post.

The large majority of members I\'d even consider for Moderation hardly log in anymore. So appointing new ones would be a tricky task. Granted, some don\'t log in as much because they are done with their penile pursuits, but the current climate here is still (imo) the #1 issue. At least it is for me.

I somehow missed this post. This is not a forum for people who are depressed about their penis. Period. There may be some who come here who are depressed, but there are also people who come here, not necessarily depressed, looking for enhancements and possible options. But the very purpose of this forum is not psychotherapy.

And if that\'s what this forum has truly devolved into (which I don\'t think it has, only that it\'s trending that way), I\'ll be the first to pull the plug. We\'re not here to babysit babies, we\'re here to get information, research, and report. There are other forums better suited to listen to one\'s \"the world is crashing down because this girl told me my 9x6 was smaller than her ex\'es.\"

Should I just contact some doctors, including Dr. Elist & Dr. Loria (for those of you may not know, I\'m not a big fan), and offer this forum for sale, take the highest bid and go on about my merry way? At least then you\'ll get people in (who are being compensated by their respective doctor/company) who can streamline the forum and make it even prettier. What do you all think?


p.s. this forum was made specifically to counteract a physician-owned forum that did nothing but spread misinformation and censor less-than-desirable posts. But it seems most new members may have been spoiled to the point-of-no-return and have failed to realize how damn good they got it here...for free no less. Find anywhere else on the entire massive internet the plethora of content here, first hand accounts and all, about a topic so taboo that bringing it up with your own primary doctor is embarrassing. Not \"letting it get to my head here,\" just stating a solid fact. Just sayin.

You\'ve done a great job creating and maintaining this forum. It\'s helped me and so many others. I appreciate all you\'ve done a lot. It\'s changed my life. Bottom line: Whatever you decide it\'s all good in my mind.

Should you sell it to the highest bidder? That\'s a really good question. For example, if someone offered you a $1M then I\'d say \"Take the money and run\". You owe us nothing. We all owe you tho.

My hope would be that somehow you get the forum cleaned up and continue to run it so others like me can benefit from the knowledge you\'ve created here.

We all should thank the moderators of this site for taking the time to run and manage this very important forum. You have brought a lot of new light to a very personal and dificult subject. Thank you for allowing us who do have experience, positive or negative to help share with others. And yes. I am in full support of cleaning up all the negative comments that don\'t help others.
