Hello everyone. I'm posting here because I got 10+ syringes of bellafill the other day and have been having serious regrets because of the anxiety it has been causing me. Before anyone says "everything has a risk", I understand that, did my research, and did not feel any real worries until I walked out of Dr Rupekas office, but have had anxiety symptoms in the past. Now the reddit users who bring up certain points on bellafill is causing me a real high amount of anxiety to the point of a literal panic attack and researching removal. I am sitting here thinking why did I do this? I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this or found or has any points or info that could possibly give me some piece of mind? This is the only place I am really comfortable asking this, my husband is not overly concerned but he has had other work done and this is new for me. The main things I've read that are worrying me :Pmma carcinogen/cancer ?
Pmma is foreign to body- immune system issues, long term inflammation?
Learning of pmma/bellafill health negatives in future as time goes on.

Sounds like a good plan. I would not fret about it. Over time it will soften and you will become more comfortable with the implant.

After several months it will be much better healed and you will know "in a calm way" what you want to change. Until 3 months or so it is still pretty dynamic although it probably won't change too much between now and then visually. But the texture will soften and become accepted by your tissue.

I am a stern believer in just staying calm and letting your body get comfortable. It sounds like you're still having some issues - but as I mentioned I don't really think PMMA is a one and done. But some people get lucky.

I'm a little afraid 10-12ccs more may be too much, considering I gained almost a half-inch with 15cc last time. But I've also heard that you gain less the following round since you're starting larger, not sure though..

Same here: 2 months post procedure and I think a slight touch up would be useful to make the base a little bit larger. Do you guys know if 10% PMMA can be used for that purpose? What % and ml's are suggested in those cases?

Hey @6x5to6x7
Apologies for the delay in replies

It did! Got very close, I'm roughly 6.7" girth now at midshaft
There is a divot on the left side closer to the head/circ scar, feels like no filler is there, like it migrated elsewhere
He also gave me filler underneath as well, overall it looks very good imo

I'm considering getting a larger touch-up next week, 10CCs. Get that area fixed and just a little thicker overall. Should end up right at 7" or just over I would imagine.
I'm bouncing back and forth between 10 or 12 more CCs

The touch-up next week would be roughly 7 weeks from my previous 15CCs. The Dr. said usually would wait a bit more, but that 5 weeks is the minimum time between injections, so should be OK

@itgoesthud so damn funny

Thanks for your input @Yup and @uncuthero .

I don’t mean to get ahead of myself, rather I’m curious about touch up rounds because I haven’t found as much discussion on that in terms of yield, how much it can actually correct etc whereas we have really good data on what to expect from a full round. Also there’s the cost implication though I’m financially prepared for either procedure during round 2.

The itchy is collagen building happen everytime nothing to worry about go for round 2 for aesthethics like i did with all 10%

I think you said it yourself to answer your question.

"Next phase for me is to let the collagen building phase to run its course then consult with @Avanti_Derma on whether I need a full round or touch up."

You got several more weeks to go before you are in much of a position to have certainty on what to do next.

Keep the course.

2 week update

I think the swelling is gone or mostly gone and I’m entering the collagen building phase. I feel a slight itching sensation here and there that I’d compare to the itch you get when you shave your unit and the hair grows back. Anyone experience this?

As far as aesthetics, there is lumpiness which you can see in second picture of the previous post. Just slightly above the base there is a buildup of filler that flairs out to the side then runs down the shaft. I think @SoonDigBick described something similar. It’s even more apparent from the side and bottom view. Also, I have filler at and above the circ line that is very palpable. So these high spots paired with less material midshaft makes for a very lumpy feel in the hand and visually. I hope this doesn’t read as me being dissatisfied - I expected to do at least another round whether that be a full session or touch up and communicated as much to Dr Morales to give her the freedom to focus on girth over aesthetics for this round.

Next phase for me is to let the collagen building phase to run its course then consult with @Avanti_Derma on whether I need a full round or touch up.

As of right now girth erect measurements are:
Neck: just shy of 6”
Midshaft: slightly above 5.5”
Base: 6.25”

Coming from a mostly uniform 5” girth. I’d be pretty happy to keep this size while bringing up that midshaft numbers to correct the visual and tactile lumpiness. Any initial thoughts on if a touch up is enough to correct or if a full round is in order?

I just weighed mine on a kitchen scale. 6 oz total. I actually bought the stretcher AD hands out prior to my procedure to get acclimated to it. I’ve since combined the 2 metal balls to make it 12 oz. I was a bit surprised as I was also guesstimating the single ball setup to be just about a pound.

The ball is about a lb, I would guess. It feels decently heavy. I don't use it very often as I have another extender I use.

I did wear a stretcher or wrap a majority of the time during the first 2 weeks. I had a lot of swelling so I focused a lot on wrapping as it stops retraction and I was paranoid of all the swelling.

I'm having the same debate as you so I'm curious to hear what you decide to do.

I'm only 3 weeks out, and at the base the PMMA goes all the way at the top of the penis. On the sides it starts to taper off and is over an inch away at the bottom behind my testicles. Also the PMMA flares out a little as you get the bottom and the sides, so it creates a ridge line around the bottom of the penis largest at the very bottom.

You notice it if I pull my penis out by hand, but can't see it when I'm having a natural erection. You can easily notice it if you touch the penis though, so that is why i'm concerned.

I'm leaning towards trying to see if I can get this addressed and the PMMA to go down more around the sides and bottom but that won't be for a few more months as we are busy over the summer. Curious to see what you do.
