I can\'t recall off the top of my head, but does anyone know what type of incision Dr. Giunta uses?

Thanks, but there is no way I am travelling to the US, just for a lig cut.

Honestly the V/Y is a horrible incision and prone to poor healing.

The alternatives are to go abroad for a transverse incision or a scrotal incision. The scrotal seems to be by far the best, but it is well known, yet very few surgeons do it. This worries me and makes me think that it could potentially be dangerous.

I wouldn\'t have the lig cut in the UK. David Ralph doesn\'t do it often and the results he published showed small gains. Mr Viel uses V/Y incision. UGRS charge an absurd amount and treat potential patients badly if they ask too many questions.

I\'m not advocating you get FFT. But if you are determined to have something done in the UK, then get FFT without the lig cut.

It seems strange that Mr Viel still uses this incision if the healing is so poor. I am finding it difficult to find legit surgeons with a good rep, abroad that do lig cut and FFT. But I defo want it done though.

Length is about 4inchs flaccid.

In which case just forget the lig cut altogether. If there was a reliable safe method I\'d so go for it by all means. But to risk one of the current surgical options, just for flaccid length, when you are already doing well in that area is crazy. It\'s difficult for guys to understand, but there just aren\'t good options for us. In the same way you ask your self why Viel is still doing the V/Y, ask yourself why other surgeons abandoned it.

If you look at the link below, it shows that only 52% of patients are happy with fat transfer procedures. That is almost certainly over a short period of time as well. Mr Viels business is 90% fat transfer orientated. It\'s not just the penis, he does it to the face, breasts and other areas. He basically specializes in liposuction and then transferring the fat to other parts of the body. He\'s even got his own \"fat bank\" where he stores patient fat for up to 2 years. The point of me telling you all this is that it shows his business is depedant on doing procedures with about a 50% success rate. So this demonstrates that he\'s pretty used to dealing with unsatisfied patients and must be a big part of his professional life. So the fact he still does V/Y when most have abandoned it doesn\'t necessarily mean it\'s because he rarely has problems, but could be simply because isn\'t that bothered about it.

Maybe I should look to go abroad then. Anybody you could recommend by rep?

Not really. Have you tried wearing an extender?

According to the studies in this article guys wearing extenders gained 0.7\" in 4 months and 0.9\" in 6 months.

healthland.time.com/2011/04/22/add-inche...-can-make-it-longer/

Now David Ralph was involved in a study involving 42 guys that had their ligs cuts. According to this study :

\" The operation does lengthen the ?accid penis butusually only by 1 cm. In some patients whopersevere with postoperative stretching exercises,as much as 3 cm gain can be achieved, but patientsmust also be warned that a small degree of penileshortening may also occur\"

eu-acme.org/europeanurology/upload_articles/Ralph.pdf

The overall satisfaction rate was 35%.

Lig cutting just isn\'t a great procedure. It\'s definitely not worth going going abroad for, especially if you already have a very decent flaccid size to begin with.

It\'s 3.8 to 4 inchs. How the hell is that decent? lol

I\'ll do more research I see which doctors perform this with the laser that doesnt need Y/V incision

A 4 Inch Flaccid hang is decent, you\'re most likely a \"show-er.\" No one\'s Flaccid hangs 6-7\" if that\'s what you think you\'ll be able to achieve. What is your Erect length if you don\'t mind me asking?

If your concern was primarily Flaccid hang, I\'d focus on just traction without the surgery. They are going to make you stretch post-op anyways, so why not see if it works without the cost & risk of surgery. I should note, that Hanging & stretching comes with their own risks, but at least you might be able to reduce your overall risk by avoiding surgery altogether.

Laser doesn\'t make any difference. It\'s more of a marketing ploy. It\'s probably better used a scalpel.

No idea mate. Never measured. It\'s a Flaccid thing that I want. Like when i\'m in a pair of boxers or in the gym showers.
