They will, but personally don\'t think they should just charge for this other than the cost of material etc. At the end of the day they are only offering this as a corrective procedure and in my opinion patients shouldn\'t have to pay for corrective work.

In theory they shouldn\'t need anything more than a needle and topical anesthetic. It should be a 10 min procedure max and Silikon1000 is really cheap to buy.

A small nose defect correction with Silikon1000 usually costs around $750 in the US. So anything over $500 in TJ is a joke in my opinion.

There\'s no cost if I do it while I am here. If I set up another session, it\'s treated like a touch up but they said they won\'t charge as much because it\'s not the same price as PMMA. They gave me a price, but I think it might be case-by-case so I probably shouldn\'t post it. If I did silicone now, he\'d just do it for free as part of the $2150 I already paid (I didn\'t use the full 20 cc Linnea safe either)...and they would be putting in tiny 1/2 drops. It\'s a very small expense for them, unlike PMMA.

I don\'t think I can do it now, though. 3 Reasons.

1. The swelling is distorting everything - and I don\'t want to \"correct \" something with silicone that will turn out fine in 4 weeks.
2. PMMA hasn\'t grown in yet so I don\'t know where my true \"low spots\" are for sure.
3. I need to wear the stretcher for 6 weeks and that is where the silicone would go anyway. I can\'t afford to lose length, so I am pretty adamant about the stretcher.

Just my thoughts on it...what do you guys think.

My travel fees - alone - to return for a 1 night stay to touch up would be 750-1000...so maybe that\'s the better route. Then, their fee will add to that - but I think I\'ll also have a better outcome.


I asked wade this stuff MGB:

Would this substance be as hard as the PMMA? Yes
Would it feel squishy? Nope
Being that the Dick gets \'roughed around\' would it move to another location? It gets encapsulated like PMMA. It only would move around if they put too many drops in and the drops started to become too glob-like. There\'s a specific way to put it in so you get the best response...less is better.
Also is the silicon permanent or does it degrade? Permanent

Surely if it\'s being used to correct a very specific dent or ridge, then it isn\'t any different to how it\'s used by dermatologists in the US. I can\'t see why a Dr would need any experience with the penis itself. The technique is the same.

I don\'t know if dermatologists or plastic surgeons really want to inject the penis with anything in the usa.

Oh crap - tom kat - I just realized i still never asked about chem pe. Friday was really busy there... they had 3 guys who all had their follow ups in a 1-hour time frame, so there wasn\'t much time as there usually is. Wade seemed a little rushed, so I didnt\' want to bring up a whole different thing. I also had a touch up extra CC injected friday - and we were trying to figure out if i should do it or not for a while - or wait for silicone after the swelling went down or what. But, I had the touch up in the end. Dr. C was also headed to a meeting I in his office. I think fridays must be busy for them to get people all wrapped up and sent on their way out.

Anyway, from everything i\'ve talked to them about over all these visits (3 sessions and a few visits each time) chem pe never came up.

I got 2cc of MD around the glans ridge, which has been really soar since Monday. Too early to tell if the MD does anything...

Is MD = Micro drops? of silicone?

Yes, MD=microdroplets. and silicone is probably what they use.

Doctor, why not just post the pictures here. This website is a open forum with no agenda and about spreading knowledge. There are 100\'s on this site that have already had PMMA so we would like to see more evidence of the \"disasters to come in the future\" Is it guaranteed to be a disaster? Does everyone eventually have problems?

Dr. Ghazi, many hundreds of patients have had PMMA injected into their penises, you\'d be wise to approach the discussion by cutting out all the fear mongering. If you suspect there is reason to believe PMMA has its issues, do so objectively with credible information & data. Also, half your posts (in other threads) have essentially been advertisements for your own injection procedures, so you\'ll have to convince the skeptics amongst us that your dissatisfaction with PMMA stems from science and not bias.
