Hey Lexus, if it looks and feels good and natural - and is free of long-term potential issues (although there is always possible issues anytime you introduce a foreign substance into your body I am sure), it wouldn\'t be a waste for me.
I think the math is that you lose 65%-50% by the end of a year - maybe less, the more you have. Mischiefmaker and GJ both told me that they gained over 1\" with 14 cc\'s. That\'s pretty amazing! If I had to go back every year for 5-6 cc\'s, I\'d be OK with that. Basically, it would be a $2,000 commitment and 20 minutes time. There are times in my life I definitely didn\'t have that on hand - but since I do now I am willing to try and see what happens. I am also not in my 20\'s or 30\'s so my body is changing way more now than it ever did before.
When I was younger (mid 1990\'s) I was much less fearful - and actually excited - about going down to Miami in complete isolation having strips cut out of my ass and sewn into my
Dick, having my ass sewn back up and having my ligs cut in an afternoon. The potential consequences were far more serious from that but I didn\'t care, I was Ok about rolling the dice. The week I came back I had to defend my doctorate and the only thing I remember is standing in a room with 6 professors with my ass and
Dick throbbing and trying to pay attention to what was going on. Twice they told me to sit, lol.
I am more nervous about just 2-3cc of
HA now, and could not handle a bad result from
PMMA - so for me, that is where my head is now, this seems like the softest, easiest approach and I am OK trading that for a temp. fix. I think Hoddle referred to it as a punt which it sort of is, but sometimes a punt is the right call.
One thing I have gotten from this board is, imagine the worst and if you can\'t handle that - that should be your boundary. I still think I lucked out on the first procedure. If I could go back in time, I would do it again in a second. But it was also basically a temp procedure - just on a longer time frame and much more invasive. It may be that
PMMA is also temp in the sense that it will require follow-up attention. In any event, I know that my life is temp so I am cool with thinking in terms of temp now
