I agree 100%, and I hope I don\'t come across as implying you shouldn\'t be posting about your experience. The fact is that everyone should be achieving similar results as yours, and my problem is that I feel as if the results are getting worse. This procedure should be straight forward and simple, with virtually no complications. It\'s a great thing that can truly help a lot of men feel so much better about themselves.

I don\'t believe Dr. C is keeping things from his patients, but I feel that maybe they\'re not being entirely upfront about the issues with the product and/or procedure. Why do they keep changing the way they do things, and the amount they inject? It doesn\'t make sense unless the product keeps changing.

EDIT: I want to make it clear that I\'m not trying to dissuade anyone from doing this, and I feel that Dr C is trying to get the best results he can, but I DO want new people to understand the potential risks & complications that might arise. I also want people to know the results are inconsistent at best, & no one really knows the long term effects.

The results have trended downward in quality over the past few years. This is counterintuitive since Dr C has gained more experience and Wade appears to spend considerably more time on patient aftercare. I can only speculate the PMMA has become more inconsistent from lot to lot. We had a period last year where very few were getting any reasonable gains. Now the hard nodules appear to be very common again. Also it appears as though Dr N is not longer performing the procedure which could also support the theory of potential issues with the PMMA quality control. It is unfortunate we do not have another PMMA provider so we could triangulate data.

The only thing that seems certain is that the patients 3+ years ago (ie before new plastic brand PMMA was discontinued) were on average encountering far fewer issues.

Do your research and weight the risks carefully. There are no do overs with PMMA. Once you move forward there is not turning back.

I have to wonder how much of the information people are relying on is found here and how much did they receive directly from the doctor. If someone does not ask direct questions and get direct answers from their doctor, then they are relying on others, this board for example, for their answers. These people cannot then say \"the doctor hid XYZ from me.\" If a potential patient only relies on this or any other board for their research, they are doing themselves a disservice. Although this is a great board full of very knowledgeable members, it is not a substitute for direct doctor/patient conversation.

I don\'t know, I think the Dr.\'s tell you what you want to hear. As an example, I was initially considering the Elist implant procedure, and all I ever heard from his office was: \"We can help, just take a look at our before/after pictures, blah, blah, blah.\" There was no mention of any problems, etc.. Luckily I found this place, and heard the same thing when I contacted Dr. C: \"oh yeah, we can help, just take a look at the before/after pictures, blah, blah, blah.\"

I just so happened to have had my 1st procedure scheduled a week before they were getting LinneaSafe(?), and I asked them if I should wait because I heard it was better and more consistent than Metacrill. \"Oh no, they\'re the exact same, no need to delay your appt.\" Who knows if that\'s true or not. Then when I had issues after my initial procedure, I emailed them with my concerns, and after waiting several weeks for a response, I was told to schedule another appt, so they can try and correct the issues with a 2nd round.

Surely you were aware of the possibility of the complications you\'ve mentioned and the probable need for a second round.

In my opinion the problems we see usually aren\'t down to the forum, as much as the sheer determination of the guys that come here, to not only get something done, but to go as big as possible.

Let\'s be honest, most of the problems we see are due to guys being unable to resist asking for large quantities of high concentration PMMA. On top of that we see guys with perfectly good sized penises having an injectable filler and then being unhappy with how it looks or feels compared to their previous penis.

I\'ve been critical of Dr C for not sticking to his original \"enhancement\" as opposed to \"enlargement\" ideals, bowing to customer demands and doing virtually no patient profiling at all. But ultimately, most of the time, when I read of guys who are unhappy with their results, I do think that more than anything they\'ve only got themselves to blame. I used to offer so much more advise than I have done in the last year and it\'s because I\'ve learned that in the majority of cases, guys are going to rationalize things in a way that convinces them that having PMMA or whatever other procedure is a good idea.

I\'ve said so many times that the decision to have a penis enlargement procedure comes down to risk/reward analysis. Yet in the vast majority of cases, I am left scratching my head as to how they decided it was worth the risk. When things don\'t turn out as planned, though I fully understand and empathize with the anguish these guys feel, it\'s rare I think their complaint is something they shouldn\'t have been aware of going into the procedure or that I thought the guy \"needed\" anything done in the first place.

In my opinion, the only way a guy could have spent sufficient time reading the content on this forum and then go have a large quantity of 30% PMMA injected into their penis and not be aware there is a good chance of things not turning out as they hoped, is by being incredibly blinkered.

I read just about every progress report on here, and was absolutely aware of the possible complications and need for a 2nd round. In fact, I was told by Wade before my 1st procedure that they recommend a 2nd round for touch-ups.

Like most guys that come here though, you tend to think that \"it won\'t happen to me\", and \"I\'ll be one of the lucky ones\". If fact, I\'m not that disappointed with my results, and I think a 2nd round will probably resolve most of my issues pretty easily, but I AM a bit concerned that a 2nd round will make it worse, which is why I cancelled my 2nd round appointment. I was hoping things would become a little more consistent.

I simply want guys to be aware of the potential risks and complications. I tend to see more and more guys that have above average dicks wanting to get this done, and to me that\'s crazy. Also, you need to understand that it was Dr C and Wade that encouraged me to get 30% & 24cc\'s (I think), and not me telling them I want to be huge. I specifically said I wanted to be conservative, and was just as concerned about aesthetics as I was size. I told them verbatim: \"You\'re the experts, so do what you thinks best.\"

That\'s one of my points though, is that they keep changing their process and procedures. First it was 10% and 15cc\'s, then it was 20% and 20cc\'s, then it was 30% and 30cc\'s, then it\'s a combination, and now it\'s a combination and 20cc\'s max with a significant increase in price!

My personal opinion is that they should charge $5k, which would include 40cc\'s total, with a max of 20cc\'s per visit. This would ensure that you would go for at least a 2nd touch-up session. This would also lessen the mindset of \"let\'s go huge on the 1st round\", and then the inevitable \"oh shit, what\'s wrong with my Dick!\" after the 1st few weeks. This would also probably weed out a few of the \"ego enhancers\".

I understand where you are coming from with this. What guys looking into this as an option need to understand is that this is really not an exact science yet. It may never be. But right now, the \"perfect\" mix of concentration and amount, coupled with technique and aftercare, has yet to be set in stone. It is still a learning process for everyone involved. In effect, every guy that gets it done is another one to evaluate and see if the change made things better or worse.

I think that y\'all are right that the when the number of cc\'s injected increases, so does the probability of something going wrong. Guys achieving a .5\" increase in Girth certainly have less risk than guys trying to add 1.5\"+. However, risks are present with even 1 cc.

But this is what I don\'t get with a lot of guys. You were aware of the changes in the process, as you even expressed concern before getting the procedure done. Yet you went in an said \"You\'re the experts, so do what you thinks best.\" This is what I mean about guys taking responsibility. You are pretty happy with your result, which is good, but at the end of the day, you went to Mexico and let a Dr, whose method you\'d already expressed concern about, have carte blanche with your penis. I\'m not criticizing you personally, as it\'s clearly the prevailing attitude on the forum, but it also highlights the limited impact the forum really has beyond showing people the possible options. At the end of the day this thread only exists, as the OP somehow managed to filter out all the negative results!

I will be going to Dr C next year and I have expressed I dont care how long it takes and how many times I need to go but I wanted less risk and more real appeal of the penis. They told me then to start with 10% and I would be coming back for up to 3 sessions. I am fine if its a more slow process than saying \"hey doc just make me the thickness of a Coke can NOW\" because I know from reading over the past 2 years that more than likely you are more prone to complications by doing that over the slower route with less amount.

That was my initial approach, SpankAss - but so many reports of limited growth in R2 made me request 30% in R2 (10% in R1). I barely even got growth from R2. I don\'t even think there are many reports of people getting 10% in R2 and having noticeable growth.

I am glad to hear there is still another Dr who has experience offering PMMA. Out of curiosity is there a forum similar to PhalloBoards focused on Europe where guys have commented about Dr N or did you find out about her here ? Good luck !

Ya well after reading all the reports and especially yours it made me take a step back as to being pushy to what I wanted mentally rather than what my body might need. Hats off you to you sir for sharing your journey and making me see the light at least.

I have decided I dont care if it takes 5 years ... the slow way is the better way from all the reports I read and the Dr knows better than me.
