You can get HA injected into it
Dr Kim does it but it doesn\'t last long

I\'ve had a few cc of Macrolane HA injected in the corona of my glans. The gains are subtle and I probably won\'t shell out money specifically for it. My treatment was part of an overall package.

Thanks for the response everyone. Camphallo, did you have any negative side effects with the glan injections and how long did the gains last in your experience.
Also, are there any specific after care instructions for glans injections or was it just a fairly simple procedure with little downtime.

Fillers in the glans are too risky in my opinion. Both myself and M8x7 made this point years ago and since then we\'ve had 2 members suffer Necrosis, even though very few had had it done.

My injections were only done last week so I can\'t comment on longevity.

I\'ve experienced no side effects so far and It was painless. No specific aftercare was needed. I just kept it clean and dry. As far as I\'m aware there is practically no downtime at all, but I would abstain from aggressive manipulation for at least a few days.

Agree with hoddle10. Due to the thin skin and complex, spongelike vasculature of the glans, I do not advocate glans augmentation. IMHO, it is too risky.

I am aware of the Necrosis that was experienced by some of the members here, but was it by a temporary filler or was it with something more permanent.
I feel that HA or something similar in nature may not be as dangerous due to the fact that it is temporary and usually has to be redone within six months or so.

It\'s irrelevant whether it\'s temporary or not. There is a reason experienced Dr\'s inject HA in the shaft via a cannula. When you consider they still take that precaution when they are able to make skin \"tent\", it should say something about injecting into the glans.

Blocking the vascular supply is just as likely with HA as with any filler. With a sharp needle you can injure the vessel, compress or block it with filler. It\'s harder to tell if you\'ve done damage in the glans than in the face.

I\'m not or never have been planning glans enlargement, but the only reason I comment on discussions about it is to make people aware that it\'s risky and not worth it for the small gains we\'ve observed. We\'ve only had about 5 or 6 guys report glans enhancement and as you know 2 have turned necrotic. It wasn\'t to do with permanency of the filler, but I do believe they were HA based fillers on both occasions.

I\'m not saying it\'s a big risk, but just that it\'s not a risk worth taking. The guys who did have Necrosis didn\'t seem to gain much anyway.

If I\'m not mistaken, Dr. C ran some trials after his trip to South Korea and ultimately abandoned glans enhancement because he was dissatisfied with the results. I never started out with large glans, and post-PMMA it\'s even more noticeable. Despite being one of the more \"in-need of glans enhancement\" members here, I will never get glans work done with all the methods currently available.

If I am not mistaken, there was a member who applied PRP shot into the glands, but I don\'t remember who and the outcome.

Thanks everyone for all the information given. I am considering Radiesse filler injections for temporary Girth gains and was wondering whether or not i should get it injected into the glans. I will now be steering away from glans enlargement. The reason I considered glans enlargement was that I had two rounds of prp injections directly into my glans with no gains, not even temporary gains, but I did not have any side effects at least and retained full sensitivity of my glans.

Both Kittenpaste and Smalljay had necrosis resulting from treatment with a Lipen product by Dr. Cho in Korea.

I had this in korea. The result is great . But I get nightmares about the needle going into my Dick-end . For that reason i would rather I just thicken the shaft with the HA

- Yes but its not injected into the shaft , or at least mine was not. Its above and cannula no, then you need stich. They stick needle in, down push down and then once in pull it back and squirt so not blocking anything up, you get what im trying to explain.
