It\'s supposed to be a mixture of laser and ipl and it should take 5-8 sessions
160 euros x 5 = 800 euros

Would you recommend one of these?

I guess for me personally (with my financial status) it seems to expensive for what i am getting.

I would like to remove:
- some hairs from shaft at the base, so penis looks bigger
- hairs from Balls
- hairs in anus area

You want permanent hair removal? Than only electrolysis will work. Laser is only for reduction as mentioned before. I visited some hair removal forums, disregarded the advice of the old hands there, spent $1.5k on laser treatments only to have the growing back eventually. I switched to electrolysis and now I am 905 hair free down there and only fine hairs remain. All the original corse, curly hairs are 99.9% gone. And yes it hurts like a bitch sometimes, but the skill of the probationer can reduce the discomfort by 25%, 30%.

Restoration:
I talked w/ my laser person & she said guys have hated having their penis / balls done. Plus, the skin takes unusually long to heal. She said it would be better to do electrolysis. I think given everything I dealt with, I\'ll find an electrologist. A lot of the ones who do transgender people are used to this anyway.

I had electrolysis and it was pretty uneventful. Barely any pain (I used EMLA). I\'m not even red. It was cheap too, considering everything else. The only downside would be ingrown hairs, so I gotta just be careful with the washing and \"gentle exfoliation\".

i beg to differ and would seek a second opinion and would search out someone using a sciton, electrolysis takes such a long time for each individual hair. you can laser the cock and balls in 20 minutes.

Restoration:
I did 50 minutes worth, so it wasn\'t bad. I didn\'t to the balls, just the area where it will be cut for the scrotoplasty. Then, we did the shaft. There\'s definitely more hair to go but we\'ll wait until Post-op so it\'ll be easier to know exactly where to do it. It\'ll probably be 5+ hours in the end (spread across a few visits). I think that will be $400 which is nothing really, but just a lot of time. It looks WAY better already

I talked to 2 laser people. Neither one wanted to do it, and they have done other areas on me (one alexandrite person and one lightsheer person).

I found laser hair removal to be far superior, I\'ve spent '7000 on it in my life, I\'ve had it at several different clinics, what matters most is what machine they use.
I\'m convinced the best is the Lumenis' High Speed LightSheer duet. Extremely powerful and efficient, I had extremely impressive results from this from a small amount of sessions.

I had my balls and shaft done 20 years ago - I am sure that the technique and equipment have only gotten better. They told me 3-5 sessions and that is what I pretty much needed. The shaft hair is 100% gone. After having my lig\'s cut and hung for a year or so I had about 1.5\" - 2\" of hair growing down my shaft. My balls, however, I think because the skin is not smooth and the architecture is all over the place - got burned a lot in the process. I\'d say about 80% is gone there - I stopped going because of the burns. It was also not the type of place that did guys balls and dicks so there could have been a learning curve but it is def. worth it

I had laser hair removal, but I think it\'s pretty much totally regrown now. I haven\'t had any for about 3 years. It definitely worked, but I was told I\'d need to maintain, but never did. I\'ll probably do it again once I\'m through with PMMA.

You can do some areas yourself (many professional electrologists doe self treat) but of course there will always be some areas you will not be able to see or reach.

To the hair root, you need to pass a certain amount of current that is patient and individual hair specific. Some will die with one zap and some stubborn ones will take several. I have one sob follicle that has been zapped 4-5 times, but still comes back. However, each time it takes longer to grow and is finer each time.

It\'s funny you just bumped this thread. I had electrolysis for the second time (all of the 1st round hair grew back and I just didn\'t give a shit anymore). I have a very bad ingrown hair which I don\'t know what to do with. It\'s been like this for 5 days. I will have to call the woman back and see if she\'ll extract it, but I don\'t want too much damage in that area due to my healing issues from the PMMA.

Is there any advice on here about dealing w/ an ingrown? I can\'t see the hair at all. It\'s basically just a pimple that hurts.

Shaving doesn\'t work, to whoever asked, because I get stubble within 2 days and ingrown hairs, and razor bumps. It has to be removed from the follicle.

It would be best if you get your provider to extract it for you, but for whatever reason you can\'t wait this is what I did.

Things you will need.

- Lamp with built in magnifying lens.
- Pointed tweezers. Buy a good one.
- Alcohol wipes
- Zit cream

Wash you hands, turn the lamp on, clean area with wipes and try to locate the follicle \'hole\'. Break the skin by picking at it with the tweezers. Now you will have to squeeze like popping a zit. Once you all the pus is out and you get a bit of blood, look to see if the tip of the hair has been exposed. If it is visible under the surface, you may want to \'dig\' in a bit with your tweezers to see if you can tease the tip out, but DO NOT pull the hair out (ie Don\'t separate the strand from your body) All you want to do is to free the trapped hair, but still have it attached to you. Apply pressure until you stop bleeding and apply zit cream.

I was able to open it up after a shower, so the pores were softer. There was pus - but that was about it... no hair. I got in with a 25 gauge needle that I poked into the hole. I didn\'t want to dig with tweezers and cause a bigger problem due to the healing issues I\'ve had there. I couldn\'t see a hair - even with a very bright light on it (and it\'s thin skin there - but no hair seemed to be there). I am not sure what is in there or if this is all going to start all over again since no hair was freed. I put bactroban on it.

Since there was no hair, then it was probably a reaction from the electrolysis needle. Your cream will take care of the infection.

Believe me, it is all worth it in the end!
