briceb I did read his Txhog\'s post. It appears that he developed an infection. That is a real and possible issue with the surgery. If you leave the penis to heal for the first month you should be ok. If you try and have sex before that then you would definitely increase your risk of infection. Speaking to Dr. Omead in Dr. Elist\'s office yesterday he said that the people who had issues with the implant usually were people who tried having sex way too early while the penis is trying to recover from the trauma of the surgery. The risk of infection is clearly stated on the doctor\'s website and in the pre and post op instructions.
Once again I want to stress that all I am doing is giving anyone who cares to read MY EXPERIENCE and it is just as valid as anyone else\'s experience or opinion. I am not trying to convince someone to do the surgery I do have a problem with someone who hasn\'t had the surgery trying to tell someopne else who hasn\'t had the surgery what to do or think about it...especially when their opinion is based on reading the negativity throughout the internet rather than actually speaking with the doctor about the surgery.
Mustang I am not a \"decoy\" and I have proven you wrong every time. You said you would apologize if I posted a pic with the date and my username and I did it but you continue trying to challenge my authenticity as a real patient. I wasn\'t sent here by Elist. I had seen these sites prior to the surgery but chose to go forward based upon my entire research and instincts. I am happy so far as everything I have been told to expect with my recovery has happened. I am anxiously awaiting for the dissolvable stitches to dissolve so I can get back to my pre-surgery
Erect length and over time hopefully more. As far as my
Flaccid length and
Girth...mission accomplished.
messageman I know that Dr.Omead from his office knows I\'m in here because he called me yesterday after receiving my weekly email. I informed him in the email that I was posting in here and the resistance and negativity that I was finding. I believe that prompted the phone call and we discussed it. He told me that there was a Middle Eastern patient that was actually happy with the surgery but two weeks after getting it wanted his money back...not to get the implant out...or else he would post negative comments in places like this...in the legal world we call that extortion. He also said that a poster in the
PhalloBoards admitted that he had sex 3 days after the surgery which ultimately resulted in infection and having to remove the implant. So I\'m sure Dr. Elist knows I\'m here. I will continue to tell the truth about MY experience with the surgery for whatever it is worth to whomever reads it. You all have an agenda to discourage people from getting the implant. I have no agenda other than putting myself out there as an honest representation of what a person might expect from the surgery process. I say might because every human body is different and heals differently. I am a healthy 52 year old that works out 4 days a week and am muscular. I take testosterone each week and do everything I can to make my body the best that it can be. I didn\'t take having the surgery lightly but I felt comfortable with doing it because ultimately Dr.Elist had been doing this surgery for more than a decade and if he were truly the butcher of Beverly Hills he would have been run out of time long ago. I spoke with him before flying out from Florida for the surgery and felt comfortable with him. My father was a doctor and I had been around many doctors growing up and going on rounds with him at the hospital. I learned to get a sense of the difference between a doctor that was a real pro as opposed to a money grubbing doctor who was in it for the money. Dr. Elist falls into the real pro category as he is accomplished not only with this surgery but in his specialty of
Urology. No one understand a penis better than a
Urologist. I am skeptical of the plastic surgeons that do every plastic surgery under the sun...nose job, boob job, face lift...buy 2 get 1 free....you get the picture. I\'m convinced Dr. Elist could do this surgery in his sleep with one arm tied behind his back...slight exaggeration there for dramatic effect. Ultimately, I am still in recovery and not \"out of the woods yet\". I feel confident that all will end well...everyone else in here seems to be confident that all will end horribly for me...we can agree to disagree. I will continue to post my weekly pics and people who stumble across my posts can weight it any way they choose but they can be assured that what I am saying is honest as it relates to MY EXPERIENCE and with no agenda
