Welcome, Guest |
thank you 10003...so far it has been smooth. The only hiccup was some folliculitus from when my pubic hair started to grow in and around the incision line. That started last Thursday and is now almost completely healed up. I got that sort of irritation...looks like little sores...even before ever having the surgery (starting years ago and frequently but not always when I shave) when I shaved on the penis. Freaked me out the first time it happened...thought I had herpes or syphilis.

| I think most of the members on here believe JJk has the implant (including myself). What we are trying to figure out is his motivation... Is he just a fan of the implant and wants to get the word out? Is he trying to get brownie points with the doctor by posting on the board? I am perplexed that a guy intelligent enough to get a license to practice law (and had all the implant horror stories info beforehand) ended up getting the implant (in the first place). This is just something I can\'t wrap my head around. I think this is what the main issue is with the other guys on the board too...Especially with other options such as PMMA. If you had asked me how my implant was going at the two month mark, I would have given it rave reviews I loved the feeling of having the (instantaneous) Girth. I had lost length as a result of the implant, but the Girth made up for it...And I was recommending it to whomever would listen on The Mynewsize website. I made sure to include this fact whenever I would email the doctor. He was very happy to hear this..I felt that by doing so, he would take a more personal interest in my case. Not in a million years did I think my implant would have to be removed...And never did the doctor let me know that there would be very very serious issues if it had to be removed. He kept (and I am assuming keeps) that a secret...which is unconscionable. My problem with Jjk\'s posting is that some poor guy might like his \"good so far\" updates\", go to the Elist website ....and fall in the Dr. Elist trap. That is why I want to be sure that they also see that as far as I know, there is a very high probability rate that this will eventually end badly... And btw, I had PMMA (twice)...So far, so good...But you never will see me recommending it to anybody (without first stating clearly that the longterm effects of PMMA are unknown). Why? Because I don\'t want to be responsible .....That would be very irresponsible of me. Jjk, I really do hope you don\'t have the same issues the other members on this board basically (all) had...And wish you the best of luck... |

messageman: That is why I want to be sure that they also see that as far as I know, there is a very high probability rate that this will eventually end badly... See messageman, this is where you and I don\'t see eye to eye. Your comment: \"there is a very high probability rate that this will eventually end badly\" Just because some people posting on the internet report bad results doesn\'t make their result the typical one. What is your definition of a very high probability rate? We can all agree that any surgery has a certain percentage of bad outcomes...even death. Hell, read the warnings for an aspirin and you would think you\'re about to ingest cyanide. I do not believe that there is a high probability that it will eventually end badly because if that were truly the case, he would have been out of this business long ago. He didn\'t start putting the implant in last year or even ten years ago. He has been doing the surgery for a long time and has improved the product along the way. Secondly, don\'t you think the California Medical Association would have received a ton of complaints about him if he were \"butchering\" so many people as is claimed. I am going to point out again, I am not saying that some people have not had bad results. It can argued as to why they had bad results but I will concede that some people can have a bad result because their body reacts differently than most to the surgery. But, with that said, I also do not believe that a bad result is the \"norm\" whereas you do. I went ahead with the surgery despite the stories I read about in the PhalloBoards because I did not consider the PhalloBoards to be the \"norm\". Dr. Elist is on an island being the only surgeon allowed by the FDA to perform the Penuma implant surgery. I\'m sure there are a lot of jealous plastic surgeons out there who hate the fact that he\'s making $50,000.00 a day...and believe me I think he could charge people more for the surgery and he would get it. These other surgeons would love to see him put out of business so the only other option for us Dick conscious dudes would be fillers being injected for Girth and men not having any real option for length increases Flaccid or Erect. Why haven\'t the doctors who supposedly are \"correcting the buthchering done by Dr. Elist\" complained to the Board. If these doctors truly believe that he performing a surgery that has \"a very high probability rate that this will eventually end badly...\" then why aren\'t they reporting Elist to the Board. They would have a moral and ethical duty to do so...but yet that hasn\'t happened. That tells me that the surgery has a very high success rate and the doctors \"correcting\" the surgery don\'t feel that he is butchering people. I am just imparting common sense and deductive reasoning to a set of facts like I would with any legal issue presented to me...and I\'m usually right.

You are definitely just trolling now. Every time you make these quite frankly absurd defenses of Dr Elist, you are insulting the victims. Not only that, but you are insulting those, especially Messageman, who have spent countless hours, advising and counselling his victims and doing this for absolutely no reward. I\'ve tried to be very empathetic with you, both in this thread and when discussing your posts in private with others. But you are showing absolutely no empathy towards others. So many guys have had their lives turned upside down by Dr Elist and will never be the same again. Yet your posts seem to display nothing but utter contempt for them, as if they are nothing but statistics. The very notion (false) that Elist\'s \"new\" implant should be viewed differently to those put in anyone who had the surgery before you, suggests that you are happy for them to have been guinea pigs and it\'s okay that Elist destroyed their lives, as it was all part of a learning curve. To read you describing Elists levels of bad results as \"the norm\" is fucking sickening. This attitude that all surgeries carry risks, therefore it\'s fine that so many guys have been mutilated by Elist is just part and parcel of elective cosmetic surgery, is quite frankly disgusting. I still genuinely hope things work out for you long term with your implant, but regardless of your own personal outcome, if you don\'t hold Dr Elist in contempt given what you\'ve learned about him on here, then there is something very wrong with you.

hoddle: I am truly empathetic to the others who have had bad results from any PE procedures...be it with Elist or anyone else. I am not telling people to run out and have the surgery. All I have been saying is that there is another side to it, i.e. there are many people who have had the surgery and had success. I believe the successes far outweigh the negative outcomes for the reasons I stated. You have labeled my reasoning absurd but didn\'t even attempt to refute my logic. I understand that to someone who had a bad result that logic and statistics don\'t matter. If I had a bad result I would want to know exactly why so I could see if it could be corrected or even attempted again or what other options are available. What surgery did you have? Did you have the Penuma implant with Elist? If so, when? what happened? If you had a different surgery, with whom and what happened? This should be a place where people can actually learn something not just call each other names.

| yeah jjk I kind of feel that same way about what Hoddle says about disregarding the victims of Elist. You are coming off like the one Jew that didn\'t have a bad experience at Auschwitz saying don\'t believe everything your hear, a lot of it is hype. I think it is because you have no idea how bad those experiences have been, so they seem proportionate to you. I am going to assume you are not a bad guy, and your implant looks good, keep your fingers crossed but it\'s why I keep on asking why you are poking so many people who have suffered on here and what you are getting out of this board? I really would take my card and go home with the knowledge that you had a procedure that you are happy with for now. Take it as a win and go celebrate but this isn\'t the board for that as there is too much history here. |

I have repeatedly expressed my sorrow and empathy for anyone who had a bad PE result from Elist or anyone else. 10003, Even the Jews that survived Auschwitz wouldn\'t say they had a good experience. My problem is that the guys that have had bad experiences here want everyone else in the world to think that a horrible outcome is the normal and inevitable outcome. Simple as that. Their outcomes were not the normal outcome as bad as their personal experiences are and that is why I applied logic and statistics. When messageman says there is a high probability rate that my surgery will end badly, I simply want to understand upon what facts and statistics is that statement made. He is the one that brought statistics of a bad outcome into the discussion. Is it because HE had a bad result that he believes everyone else will too or because he\'s heard from other people in here. I\'m sorry but I don\'t buy that. When I say that, you guys want to say I\'m not empathetic. I\'m not trying to diminish anyone\'s pain and I hope they figure out a way to get the penis they want...If I went to Elist and had a bad outcome I would want to know why and if there is anything we could do to correct it or try again. Is that so crazy? I believe messageman actually has gotten more than his pre-surgery length back and retained much of the Girth from having the implant...if it\'s not him I know someone else had said that...so his horrible result wasn\'t so bad in the end. The topic here is \"considering the Elist implant\" so silly me thought I could throw in my 2 cents about my experience for what it is worth to someone \"considering the Elist implant\". I don\'t bash people who had a bad experience with it and I shouldn\'t be judged harshly because I am simply reporting about my experience so far. Just because it doesn\'t confirm and validate their positions is not my problem. They should acknowledge that not everyone has a bad outcome as they continue to say...that is why I am so adamant about my postings because they are not being honest and people reading the posts in here who are considering the surgery are looking for an honest accounting of the surgery where they can hear both the bad AND the good. I hope you aren\'t like some of these other guys that want the world to believe that Elist is a Dr. Frankenstein and every person who has the surgery will have it taken out with horrific results or as messageman says \"high probability\" that my outcome will end badly...whatever \"high probability means to him\". I hate speaking in generalities because it allows a reader to let his imagine run to the wildest and craziest thought which I believe is exactly what some in here want.

Based on what? Do you want us to go through every poster on here and MNS that started posting either before they had the implant or before things went wrong and what their result was like 2 years later? That sounds reasonable to me, does it you? Off the top of my head I can think of about 10-15 guys and not one still had the implant 2 years later. Using logic and statistics, what do you think the chances of that happening and it just turning out to be a complete freak run of bad luck? Please answer that and don\'t ignore it. When Dr Elist took his implant to Serbia, he put over 20 in and Dr Miro Djordevic had to remove every single one of them. Email him if you don\'t believe me. Again, using logic and statistics, please say what you think the chances of this being a freak run of insanely bad luck are? Shall we go through PE forum members and list those who have had bad PE results and then ask each of them whether they took any legal action and registered a complaint with any medical board? If the result comes in at less than 1% (which it will), than how does this effect your logic? Again please answer this and don\'t ignore it. You seem to be arguing that it is your belief that only a small percentage of Elist implants fail and if the complication was dramatically higher Elist would have lost his medical license and constantly be fighting legal battles from patients who are trying to sue him. But unless you can answer the above questions satisfactorily then surely you have to concede that your logic is indeed flawed.

| Hi Jjk My high probability rate comes from the members I had known before (when they were considering the implant)...and then went on to get the implant. With the people I knew from the MyNewSize website and PhalloBoards, I would say that it is perhaps 2 dozen implants. Again, that\'s not including implant victims that came to this website after Removal. All (100%) of these men ultimately had their implants removed for various reasons...such as infection, the implant was crooked or unbalanced, the implant broke through the skin, the implant looked ridiculous and not what the patient had expected, etc... This certainly contradicts Dr. Elist\'s claims that the success rate is 99% (or whatever he is saying now). I do understand your thesis that this website is just a place that the few implant mishaps gravitate to...and therefore skew the ratio...But that is not how I am arriving at my conclusion. I realize my assessment is certainly not scientific...but unless I happen to be very bad luck for every implantee that comes into contact with me, the implant overall has a very poor track record. Again, I hope you have success with your implant! |

messageman Thank you for your well wishes and I do believe that you mean that so it is appreciated. Basically you are pointing to a couple of dozen of people that posted, many having had positive posts initially, and yet all had the implant taken out so the conclusion is that nobody likes it or it was a flawed procedure. I still say that a couple of dozen out of thousands who have had the surgery is a very small percentage. I acknowledge that not everyone who didn\'t like it posted about it on the internet just as the many that did like it haven\'t posted either. You even acknowledge that many within that sample of a couple of dozen chose to take it out because they just didn\'t like the aesthetics of it...not because of a problem with the surgery. It was just a personal preference that they had and I guess it didn\'t meet their expectations. More power to them because it is their body and they have to like it. I posted a little while back that if someone thinks that the surgery is going to result in their penis looking and feeling exactly the same way it did before surgery but only longer and thicker...think again. In the Flaccid state you will easily be able to feel the implant although for me it is getting softer as it settles in. Looking at the Flaccid penis it looks perfectly normal...but touching it you can feel the edges of the implant. In the Erect state it would not easily be detected and hasn\'t been detected any of my partners. Neither one of us can accurately say what the percentage of unhappy customers are. My conclusion is that if the percentage of unhappy patients were so high then Elist wouldn\'t be able to continue doing it because the word would get out and yes if he were so bad the Board would yank his license. I know I\'m not going to convince you of anything and I\'m really not even trying to at this point. For you, the unsatisfied percent is 100% because that was your experience and you\'re entitled to your opinion about it. All I am doing is sharing my experience and providing a different point of view with my reasoning on display for anyone to determine if I make sense or not so they can make their own decision. You can\'t convince me that everyone that has the surgery eventually hates their implant and I can\'t convince you that a majority do like it. We can agree to disagree. Hoddle: post the usernames of the people you are talking about and I will read their posts with pleasure because I am open to hearing the negative posts as well as the positive ones. I have no agenda other than sharing MY experience. I know nothing about Serbia. Did any of them post in here. I\'ll read their posts too. As to your assertion \"PE forum members and list those who have had bad PE results and then ask each of them whether they took any legal action and registered a complaint with any medical board? If the result comes in at less than 1% (which it will), than how does this effect your logic?\" It proves my point. People nowadays sue at the drop of a hat and if that didn\'t work then they would complain to the licensing Board because that is free for them to do. If you agree that less than 1% would go that far then that tells me that they, the ones with the worst outcomes, don\'t have the courage of their beliefs that they were truly wronged by the doctor. As messageman honestly pointed out, many of the dudes that took out the implant did it because they just didn\'t like it...not because it was defective or because Dr. Elist did anything wrong. See what I mentioned above...I caution anyone thinking about doing the surgery to realize that the feel of your new penis will be different but so will the look of it. If the look of a large piece of manhood staring back at you in the mirror turns you on more than a little noodle then it would be probably worth it you. If you already have an 8\" Dick but now want 10\" then don\'t do it would be my humble advice. In my opinion. this surgery is for people who really want to improve and have gains in the Flaccid look, length as well as Girth. That I can guarantee the surgery will give you. As for the Erect length gains, the verdict is still out for me as I have not reached the point in time where I should reasonably expect to see it. post the usernames of the people whose stories you believe I should read because I would like to hear their stories. I\'m always willing to learn something new.

Now I think you are just trying to get banned. You display literally no empathy what so ever when you post crap like that. You\'ve seen the photos, can even begin to imagine what it\'s like to have done to you as a man? It takes courage to face up to what\'s happened to you and come and share your story with others, so they don\'t make the same mistake. Imagine what it\'s like for someone like Messageman, who not only had to deal with his own problems caused by Elist, but spent countless hours advising and counselling numerous virtual strangers, often at all times of the night, to have to read he lacked courage because he didn\'t sue Elist. I think you should either apologize or fuck off.

hoddle where are all the usernames I should read? I have no idea what your problem is with me other than I don\'t subscribe to your opinions. What is it that I need to do to be dubbed \"empathetic enough\"? I\'ve already said over and over again that I feel fir the people who didn\'t get the results they wanted. I\'ve only pointed out that their result is not the only result that can be expected. If that hurts too much to hear I\'m sorry. I guess the only thing that would make you happy is if I renounced Elist and demanded that my implant be removed. That\'s not gonna happen at this point. Oh...and watch your language in here. It doesn\'t comport to the phalloboard\'s standards of mutual respect between posters. See the rules

These are photos from an Elist patient and they were posted the day the implant broke through the skin. I think most would agree that they\'d be more concerned with trying to save their penis, rather than warn others. But he requested these photos be posted, to warn others, but apparently guys like this lack courage for failing to take legal action.

Here is another guy that lacked the courage to do anything apparently, other than go to the effort of sharing his story and reliving the agony in order to help others: As you can see he\'s been left with peyronies and his skin is tuck to the shaft preventing it from moving correctly. All thanks to the \"reversible\" implant.
